Far Horizons offers magnificent accommodations for a lavish getaway. Its magical mountain-side setting displays panoramic views from every room. A perfect holiday retreat. Enjoy a wide variety of activities, year round, from golfing in summer to skiing in winter.

Far Horizons is a two-storey home with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and comes fully equipped and furnished, accommodating up to 13 people. Its surroundings and luxurious style are the perfect combination for an authentic and memorable stay, whether you come for one week or more.

While staying at Far Horizons, guests may enjoy year round activities at the famous Fairmount Château Montebello, located just minutes away (please see 'Activities Guide' in our 'Attractions' link).

Far Horizons, Montebello, Quebec, is midway between and Ottawa and Montreal. about an hours travel time either way.

No matter what time of year you arrive, the activities are numerous. You can do what your heart desires.

In winter, cross country skiing is spectacular. The trail is within walking distance of Far Horizons. Enjoy a beautiful ski through the woods, over the golf course, and around the river. Dogsledding, curling, indoor tennis, squash, and swimming are also very popular in winter.

In summer, you might find yourself golfing, hiking, mountain biking, swimming, boating, or even white water rafting, if you like a more thrilling adventure.

Or just simply enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the setting. Curl up and enjoy a good book, or sit back and relax in Far Horizons spa. The possibilities are endless!

Why can't I call Greg (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Greg (the owner) a message.

If Greg (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
