Welcome to our beautiful one bedroom apartment located in one of the most idyllic, calm parts of Lisbon. Our place will be professionally cleaned before your stay, so you don't have to worry about a single thing. Read on to find out what you can expect to find in our flat :)

#Space

The flat is located in Parque das Nações, an area that was made popular by World Expo '98, which turned the area into a well-populated, thriving area by the river.

As you walk into the flat, the living room is immediately to your left. There is a sofa bed that is suited for two small children or an adult, and serves as a comfortable couch for your relaxing times watching TV. There is a dinner table that sits 4, and there's a small balcony that faces the road for you to take in some fresh air during Lisbon's beautiful sunny days. You can take a scorch of the Vasco Da Gama bridge above the buildings to your left when you look our the balcony.

Exiting the living room and turning left you'll find the kitchen, fully equipped in order for you to cook a quick meal! We left some basic cooking stuff so that you don't have to worry about getting those during your stay. There is an outdoor storage area off the kitchen in which you'll find cleaning equipment.

The door next to the kitchen leads to the bedroom with a double bed. Hotel quality linen will be provided for your stay to feel like a sweet retreat. Both the bedroom and the living room have automatic, electric blinds for a total blackout effect. You'll have a sound, restful sleep!

The bathroom is right next to the bedroom. There are a bathtub and handheld showerhead for your relaxing bath moments. There's a hairdryer, so don't worry about bringing one along!

Guests will have access to the entire property so you can enjoy the utmost comfort. The flat will be professionally cleaned before your stay. Please respect the neighbours, no noise after 10PM.

#Neighbourhood

On the banks of the River Tejo, in the north-east of Lisbon, sits Parque das Nações; a modern redeveloped area that was completely transformed in 1998 for the World Exposition, with a futuristic development of modern buildings that stand in complete contrast to the old town of Lisbon to its west. The Vasco Da Gama Mall features some of the top brand name shops in the city, as well as a rooftop terrace where you can enjoy a drink or a bite to eat with excellent views out over the Tejo river. For music fans, the 20,000 seat Altice Arena regularly welcomes the biggest names in the world of rock and pop music. One of the highlights of the area is the Oceanário de Lisboa; a large modern Aquarium on the banks of the Tejo with sharks, rays, penguins and tropical fish. For views over the river and the entire local area, the viewing platform at the Vasco da Gama Tower (built for the World Exposition) offers exceptional vistas.

In terms of finding a great place to eat in Parque das Nações, Senhor Peixe (Mr. Fish) is a down to earth seafood restaurant serving dishes like lobster rice and fried cuttlefish, as well as fish of the day brought fresh from the Port of Setúbal. Alternatively, La Brasserie de L'Entrecôte is the best example of French brasserie cuisine in Portugal and Honorato is one of the best gourmet burger joints in the city. As for where to go for a drink in the evening, Sky Bar Oriente is located on the 16th floor of a hotel overlooking the Oceanarium and the river Tejo, with an excellent cocktail list and even better views. Rocket Bar is a cheap and cheerful place on the waterfront north of the Vasco da Gama bridge with live entertainment as you drink. Finally, Bliss Bar is located next to the arena so you can watch the boats bob on the water as you sip a cocktail.

#Transit

The area is easy to access by car (you'll have access to a parking spot in the building), bus (708, 26B, 400) and metro (Oriente).

There is also a scooter app called "ecooltra" which allows users to pick and use scooters all around the city, and there’s a shared bicycle option called Gira which you can pick up and leave at different bike stations.

Please be aware that you are legally required to pay the city tax amount of 2€ per night (for a maximum of 7 nights) and per guests over 13 as part of the Portuguese regulation.
