Description

Tranquility and beauty of the countryside are often irresistible to people who arrive from the big cities. For those who wish to experience rural Istria to its fullest, there are village households which offer plenty of ways to connect with the rural life.

Picking asparagus, olives, and grapes, or looking for truffles in the Motovun forest – these activities can be a delightful new experience to visitors. Children, on the other hand, might find the joy in the vast space they can play in, and spend quite a memorable time.

Of course, agritourism wouldn't be complete without the mouthwatering healthy meals. In fact, knowing that you eat home grown vegetables will only make the whole meal even tastier!

The house is decorated with shabby chic style. Beautiful handmade furniture adds a touch of rural luxury, but it's the richness of interior detail that gives Villa Marjeta its authentic and cozy atmosphere.

The ground floor features the kitchen, a pantry, and a spacious living room with the traditional Istrian fireplace. On the first floor are two bedrooms: a master bedroom, and a children's room. Painted in white and blue, they evoke perfect tranquillity. A modern bathroom is also found on the first floor.

The second floor is in fact a mix between the high attic and a terrace. Here is another kitchen with a pantry, as well as the fireplace ideal for barbecue. Since this floor is in part open-air, this is a lovely place to dine under the stars.

“Great vacation.”

Great atmosphere, great location, great countryside. This was best vacation we had in years. We spend a week in Villa and really enjoyed relaxed atmosphere and slowness of local living. If you need a gateway from daily living this is place to go. Visit neighboring city of Motovun, go to some local place to have a dinner, do a long walks around....really great.

Located in the heart of Istra, close to town of Motovun, this wonderfully decorated villa will simply take your breath away. If you are trying to find a weekend getaway or a longer vacation stay with either your friends or family, do not look further. This is the best Istra has to offer!!! The villa is newly decorated and offers all you need for a perfect stay in a small rural village with only a few houses which surround it. If you need any tips, the owners go beyond and above to explain all the wonderful things you can see and do. I will definitely be back :)

Motovun is a great place for couples and friends. Beautiful scenery, great food and the prices are really acceptable. I recommend trying the local "agrotourism" restaurants. The villa itself is inland, but the sea is a 15 minute drive away which is worth it considering you don't have to deal with the crowds and prices near the coast.

My friends and me visited Villa Marjeta in August for an extended weekend. Weather was great, the atmosphere in the Villa is really exquisite. Everything was clean and there was no piece of equipment missing. Although we did not use the grill there are 2 stone grills available! We spent the day time in Istria as everything is within 1 hour of driving distance. I would definitely recommend this place.

How do damage deposits work?
