Description

Hi! We are Fer & Sabrine

We love travelling and discovering special places all over the world. Five years ago we bought this house in Naarden because of its beautiful view on the Gooimeer lake. We fell in love with this unique spot right away and have been renovating the house the last few years until what it is now: a comfortable spacious family home with a great ‘zen-feeling’. A feeling we like to share!

To give you an impression of its (email hidden)e garden of the house stops where the Gooimeer lake begins. In the direct surroundings of the house there are several charming small ports with a lot of boats and a lot of greenery to enjoy. The immediate area of the house offers sailing, tennis, golf, windsurf, kitesurf, soccer, walking-trails, a fitness club and swimming facilities all within very close distance.

The house and garden offer lots of space. Specially for the kids there is a trampoline, basket, tennis-wall (small), table-tennis and swimming possibility in the lake straight from the garden, In front of the house there is a field to play soccer and small sailing boats like an Optimist and Cadet are ready to go sailing in the close harbour..

The house can accommodate one or two families up to 10 persons in total.

Downstairs. There is an open kitchen with all modern kitchen equipment you need (dishwasher, microwave, oven, 2 fridges etc). The dining area and living room are spacious and open up to the garden and terrace, a very nice spot for enjoying late summer evenings. For enjoying cold evenings you can gather around the cosy fireplace in the living room. For your favorite tv programme or movie there is a special lounge corner to watch television with extra large screen.

Upstairs at the first floor there are 2 bedrooms. One parent bedroom with double bed and annex bathroom with shower and bath. One children’s bedroom with a double bed in the air and a second bathroom with shower and separated toilet. At the second floor there is one spacious children’s bedroom with 4 single beds and one guest room with a double bed. A baby bed and chair are also available. At this floor you have also access to a washing machine and dryer. Off course the house is equipped with all modern appliances such as cable tv, dvd, stereo and free wireless internet access. The decoration and furniture is of natural materials in the colours white, off-white, sand and brown. Just see the pictures!

The location of the house is an ideal base for exploring Amsterdam and surrounding areas. It is close to Amsterdam (20 km), Hilversum (10 km), Utrecht (30 km), Schiphol Airport (30 km), all easily accessible by public transport (by bus or by train). A bus stop is at the entrance of the Naarderwoonbos, a 5 minutes walk from the house. A bus to Amsterdam is leaving every 20 minutes. A train is leaving every 15 minutes from the trainstation Naarden-Bussum to Amsterdam. The house is also conveniently located close to the highway A1, an ideal starting point to almost every destination in the Netherlands by car. In contrast to Amsterdam in Naarden there is plenty of free parking in front of the house!

The charming historic center of Naarden Vesting has excellent restaurants and shopping facilities. Naarden is also a great area for outdoor sports and it gives access to beautiful cycling and hiking trails.

House rules

May we please remind you that we have a strict NON-SMOKING policy in our apartments. The house is nicely decorated and well equipped and is not suitable for parties. Hope for your understanding.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Sabrine (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
