We have a proven record since February 2006 of letting to holiday makers from all over the world, many of whom return in the knowledge they can be assured of quality & consistency. We offer home from home comfort based on years of experience holidaying all over the world and hence providing what we would expect to experience ourselves.

G-one is a nicely situated, privately owned ground floor corner apartment and the most frequently booked and re visited, on this very personal resort. We are not located on a hotel complex and therefore never over run by too many people. Choose between FIVE pools: The more private pool right off our gated terrace down 4 steps & you are there, a similar pool to our left but out of immediate sight, the 30m pool with the well run pool snack bar run by Red the Chef & his team serving good snacks, coffee, tea, milk shakes, fresh juices & more all day long from 10.00am – 5.30pm & reasonably priced. To the rear of us, another fantastic pool behind that with walk down steps down in to the water or the new pool with steps down into it to our right. A very comprehensive welcome folder is present in the apartment, provided to assist you in just about any aspect of your stay in G-one both within the apartment and complex and when out and about.

Trips can be arranged for a visit to St Katherine's monastery, a place of pilgrimage, at the foot of Mount Sinai where, from the burning bush, God spoke to Moses.

Or what about a pilgrimage to the summit of Mount Sinai, the mountain of the Ten Commandments, maybe overnight to catch the sunrise in the morning?

Snorkelling trips out to coral reefs by boat are available.

Try a discounted trial dive through our neighbours Sarah & Simon.

For you golfers, a par 72 PGA golf course is nearby.

Tiran Island, Ras Mohamed National Park, Coloured Canyon, Nuweiba, Dahab, Overnight Cairo & the pyramids. The list is endless.

Hi Pete,

Yep, all back safe and well and back to a busy life at work unfortunately.

Once again we had a fabulous two weeks in Sharm with your apartment as a perfect base. No problems & all on site facilities were fine.

There seemed to be loads going on in the Nabq area which must mean good news for their economy. Also the whole area seemed much busier than we had experienced it before.

I will find some time to post on trip adviser and I'm sorry that I forgot to write in your visitors book.

Will definitely be back so will be in touch when we have some firm plans.

Hi Pete we got back safe and well thank you , we had a wonderful time in Sharm El Shiekh. The apartment was perfect for us we enjoyed all those lazy mornings around the pool. It was a beautiful apartment very comfortable we thoroughly enjoyed our time in there ,even got use to how to use a electric cooker was good fun. The staff at the resort were very helpful with any needs we had, in the near future we plan to return sometime as we didn't get to do a Cairo trip, I was looking to put a review on the web page but I wasn't able to do it any information would be good.

Our time is Egypt was great - though our flight got cancelled on our way back and we had to stay an extra night in a hotel.

The resort was great, the kids loved the choice of pools and the atmosphere was what we wanted.

The apartment was well equipped and found the picnic bag very useful.

Overall brilliant holiday and look forward to going again.

I am back safe and well. I really enjoyd my staying in Sharm and apartment! I am already planning a new trip to Sharm in the summer when I have my long holiday. My holiday was relaxing, peacefuf and also exciting. I also liked my trip to Santa Catharina. 10 points to "New dawn tours". Exellent guy in the office in Nabq and the guide in the trip was really professional and nice.

Hi Pete,

We had a fantastic holiday thanks. The apartment was just what we wanted and we would like to book again for next year. I will contact you again with details when you get back. We used the on site taxi most of the time for getting around

The enjoyment of sitting on the terrace first thing in the morning in the beautiful sunshine, & the fact that we had that back pool to ourselves for the whole 2 weeks. It was like being in a private villa. I cant believe how quiet it was. Mind you the whole resort seemed quiet, even Naama Bay.

Simon and Sarah next door were brilliant. My husband had an ear infection just before we left (typical) and Simon took him out on a private shore dive which was great. We also booked a trip with Norita, she was lovely.

We did find the phone really useful though, thats a brilliant plus. Last year we used our own and had a £200 phone bill on return. We have left comments in your guest book which I hope others will find useful.

Thanks once again for the use of your lovely apartment and I look forward to staying there next year (and perhaps many years to come)

Hello Pete, Yes, thank you, we had a great holiday. The beaches were nothing less than fabulous. We went to Shark's Bay 4 times and Raz Mohammed National Park and to Terin Island. We didn't see a cloud for 3 weeks. The kids loved the pools at the complex and the staff were very accommodating.

A very nice complex, all the other guests and owners were very decent people, my kids enjoyed the pool bar food (on a daily basis) and the staff in the pool bar were great! We also had a bbq there one evening which was enjoyable too. Your apartment is in a great secluded spot and the bedrooms were very comfortable! Hi Pete & Greta

We arrived back last night about midnight. The weather was great, hot, sunny and 30 degrees and we had a great time. The apartment and complex are really nice with everything you need and it was like having your own pool at the rear as we were the only one's using it while we were there and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The transfers to and from the airport all went OK and following your instructions checking out went smoothly. We went on a couple of trips - did the Grand safari which included the visit to St Catherine's Monastery, Coloured canyon and Dahab which is quite a long day and also did the boat trip to Ras Mohammed.

We went to Sharks Bay beach one day but didn't go to any of the other beaches as preferred to stay by the pool.

We travelled around on the Micro buses into Nabq and Narrma Bay which was OK once we got the hang of negotiating the prices! We eat in The Three Corners hotel in Nabq which was ok once we got in , George looked after us on a table by the pool which was very nice and we also had a good meal in the Peking Restaurant and One Fish. You were right about changing currency when you get there. We think it is an excellent choice for some winter sun, being quiet and having so many pools to choose from and would certainly consider booking again in future to escape from our freezing weather! It was 27 degrees one evening in Narrma Bay and only 1 degree when we returned here last night. Thanks very much for allowing us to use your apartment and we look forward to seeing you soon. Dear Peter

Actually, Sophea and I wanted to thank you and give you a big hug from here in Khartoum for the wonderful time we had in your beautiful apartment. It was just right and we thoroughly enjoyed in what we found to be a home away from home! We thought you have furnished your apartment with great care and taste and as you have said in your folder, you have indeed tried to stay in and see if it makes your stay homely. We even managed to watch a very nice movie from your collection, I do not remember the title, but about this guy who buys this otter and takes it out to the wilderness and understands how the environment is being disturbed by Man. Asha, our four year old started crying loudly when the Otter was killed and was inconsolable!

Yes, we did go out and did some snorkeling and the aqua park, where the father was enjoying more than the kids (having lost on those luxuries during childhood!) We also took time to just relax and swim in the pool. We did use the kitchen a lot as we found coming back and cooking our own meal a lot more relaxing. This was our first ever family trip exclusively for our own holiday. We have always been alternating or dividing our holiday time between India and Cambodia and most of the time, especially in India, is spent catching up with siblings, parents and doing all the family protocols and it is only now we discovered how enjoyable our holidays could be! Thanks again for contributing to our happiness!

Well, here we are again. Things just get better. Pete & Greta seem to improve the apartment and what is provided every year. The egyptian mobile phone proved very useful & the upgraded welcome folder with everything you need in it to ease you in proved perfect. The resident safe is a useful addition along with being able to plug our ipod straight in to their system - home from home but with the sunshine every day!!

Hi Pete,

First of all a very big apology for not contacting you sooner I can't believe that we've already been back for a month! We really did enjoy our stay enormously. The apartment, the complex and Egypt were all wonderful. we managed to do everything we wanted to including a little diving, a speedboat to Tiran Island (which was quite a bumpy ride!) and a sunrise trip to the desert in the buggies. The weather was amazing and we wish we could still enjoy that now. Used the buses to get around which worked really well especially when the locals realised we knew the prices. We look at the photos from our holiday and long to be back.

YOU MAY just want to lounge around the pools, read a book & relax, take a snack and drink at the pool bar but if not:

AT ANY TIME, a visit up to the roof top terrace, accessed from the rear steps, is well worth while for stunning spectacular views in all directions of desert scenes, wild camels, The Red Sea, Tiran Island, The Gulf of Aqaba, The shipwrecks of Louilla on Gordon Reef & Lara on Jackson Reef, The Tiran Straits & beyond. Saudi Arabia can be seen in the distance. To our rear the Sinai Mountains is our backdrop, the latter being a particularly beautiful experience at sunset as the sun sets over the Sinai Mountains and all the colours of the area change into a quiet mood of peace.

THE POOL and nicely landscaped gardens, accessible from private gated steps from our terrace, with sun beds, sun umbrellas and towels provided is only a few steps away and ideal for children and adults alike.

TO THE REAR of G-one is a larger pool (varying in depth but safe for young children), with a fantastic swim up pool bar, run by Red the Chef & his team, preparing and supplying some great drinks and snacks open from approx 11.00am to sundown. Either sit on the stools in the pool & they will bring your order to you or sit and enjoy the colourful landscaping from the bar or on the raised features, accessed by wooden bridges, where you will find tables and chairs to enjoy a relaxing drink or snack. Walking around the landscaped gardens alone brings it's own pleasure.

TO THE REAR OF THE 30M POOL is another fantastic pool with steps down in to the water for your use if you wish.

NEW POOL TO OUR RIGHT: Yes, there is a new pool with steps down into it to our right only a few steps away.

THE COMPLEX HAS 24 HOUR security with regular discrete patrols for your peace of mind.

A WELL STOCKED SHOP for those essentials is present on site in the administration block ,open at most reasonable hours, those opening hours being posted at the entrance.

INTERNET ACCESS is available for your use in the administration block at a current cost of 10 EGP per hour.

LAUNDRY ROOM This is nearby and offers a variety of services at reasonable prices. G-one is equipped with an iron.

EATING IN: If you want to eat in & don't wish to cook, amongst many others you can order a take away - On Fish or MacDonalds amongst others and they will deliver to the door for something like 40p!!!. Menus available in G-one.

THE RESORT RESTAURANT There is now a restaurant opposite the Pool Bar on the other side of the large pool. This is open 2 nights a week or you may have room service. There is a barbecue once a week during the summer months at the Pool Bar. For evening meals and barbecue, please book in advance at the admin office.

FANTASTIC AQUA PARK: A fantastic full on Aqua Park in easy walking distance (5 - 10 mins). Here there will be fun for all the family not just the kids. Access arrangements can be checked at the hotel reception during your visit.

A SHORT WALK , a shuttle bus or a micro bus to a private beach may be for you. Invest in a pair of sea shoes, mask and snorkel (all available locally & inexpensive) and explore the amazing fish and coral that lie beneath, You will be amazed.

NABQ LOCAL AREA: A 2 EGP (20p) micro bus ride finds you in the heart of Nabq where you can shop for supplies & have it delivered, gifts, use Banks, ATM's, have coffee, beers, wine & dine at a range of good restaurants & cafe's, have a Sheesha @ the LaHambra Cafe whilst being entertained with local dancing.

THE RESORT OFFERS TRANSPORT to the beautiful Sharks bay where you can sunbathe, snorkell, dive & much more in beautiful surroundings for a small amount & be collected at the end of the day. OTHER BEACHES FEATURE IN THIS WAY TOO - just ask admin.

AN ALL IN TAXI SERVICE reasonably priced for all your needs is available, if you require it, on site which can be set up for you prior to your visit or when you are there yourselves - we can advise.

NAAMA BAY, a major diving centre of the area and having a very cosmopolitan feel to it, is a short and cheap micro bus ride or taxi ride away. Great fun can be experienced here.

SHARM EL SHEIKH and it's old market is a fascinating place to visit, again a cheap micro bus ride or a cheap taxi ride away. Be prepared to negotiate!

The apartment was very nice, it had everything we needed from towels to cookery utensils, tv, dvd etc... the pool was right outside our balcony, it felt like it was our private pool! altough there were building works right opposite us , it wasn't noisy, only a bit dusty..... everything was good really, I would say the only inconvenient if you don't have a car is the road ... there is no asphalt and is really dusty, also it'is quite a distance to reach the main rd. where you can get a taxi, but if you're young and you love to walk that shouldn't be a problem.

We stayed at G-One appartment for 10 days in January with our 1 year old daughter and had a lovely relaxing holiday. The design of the appartment and equipment available meant we could spend our evenings having dinner on the terrace or watching a DVD, whilst our daughter slept in her own room. There are decent beaches and restaurants (at hotels) within walking distance, or you can get a taxi to nice beaches and Naama Bay (large choice of bars and restaurants) for around £5. The guys running the resort were lovely, and nothing was too much trouble. Slight annoyances - the swimming pools are not heated so were too cold in January for my daughter to use. Building work next to the complex was noisy at times. Overall, we would certainly return to G-One.

I stayed with 3 friends in the apartment for 8 nights in November 2011 and we had a brilliant time! The apartment is spacious, nicely furnished and was much better than staying in a hotel room as it gives more space and flexibility. The complex itself where the apartment is situated is very attractive and has 5 swimming pools to choose from! The staff at the complex were very helpful and we would definitely book the apartment again for another holiday.

This apartment is lovely and on a lovely complex with amazing views from the roof terrace. It was really quiet so no hassle for sun beds or space. We had the rear pool to ourselves for 2 weeks but families with younger children seemed to prefer the front. Pool bar sells decent snacks at good value and you can get almost anything else you need delivered (just look in the welcome pack for details). 5 minute bus ride from Nabq bay with plenty of restaurants (El Mesrien and Union Jacks were our favourite for food and value) and good evenings entertainment (especially at El Hyatt, great shops too with no hassle). Only went to Naama Bay to catch a boat but is only 15 mins away from there. All taxi prices pretty much the same no matter who you use but make sure you agree the price you want to pay first. On site taxi will take you anywhere and the staff are great. If you want a day on the beach go to Sharks Bay (£3 each from the complex including a sun bed). The snorkling here is fantastic and the food is excellent value for money. If you fancy going to Soho square make sure you take plenty of money. Beautiful place with nice shops but food very expensive and not much choice. All in all this was a fantastic holiday in a great apartment with everything we needed just a short bus or taxi ride away (no stress) and we have already made enquiries to go back again next year. The owners are really easy to deal with.

We really enjoyed our time at G!, Egyptian Experience. Great apartment with everything you could want and the complex itself was great, with a variety of pools to enjoy. The staff were really friendly and helpful and would do anything for you. Location is a bit further away from town that we would have liked but not too much of a problem as there was always the complex taxi available. Just a couple of idea's. Mosquito screens on the windows and doors would have been greatly beneficial as bugs are pretty prominent and abundant, most of the other apartments do have them. Do not book the resort taxi to collect you from the airport. Really is a rip-off. If you know where you are going, get a taxi from the airport. Complex taxi cost 150Egyptian pounds for a 7 or 8 minute ride and you can get the taxi it take you into downtown Sharm, (passing the airport on the way) for 60 Egyptian Pounds..... Really check the electricity meter and water meters when you move in. We took for granted that the readings were correct and truthful only to be hit with an electric and water bill for 200 US Dollars upon departure... For a two week stay that was definitely wrong... Apart from that, would definitely go back and use G1 without any hesitation.

When we arrived at the apartment we were very surprised at how spacious it was, it was also very nicely decorated, it had everything we needed like home from home. The balcony was a lovely place to chill out in the evenings with views on to the pool. We also ordered a welcome pack for when we arrived so we had the essentials even though there are shops close by which we ventured to. Reception was very helpful ordering taxis for us etc they also organised a dive trip for us which was the highlight of the holiday, the sealife was truly amazing. We would definately return time and time again.

How do damage deposits work?
