TIRED OF THE SAMENESS OF ALL INCLUSIVE? THEN THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. Get out and about, explore, relax in your own comfortable apartment, read on the terrace, do YOUR own thing not what a hotel think you want to do. The modern family want a real experience of "going it alone." shop, cook, get to know people. We want you to LOVE Egypt as Egypt loves to have guests.

S1 is a privately owned ground floor, end apartment and is furnished and maintained to a very high standard. Situated on a small friendly, award-winning development in the area of Nabq.

Set in attractive landscaped gardens , a few steps to the largest of 5 pools. Sun loungers are provided along with plenty of seating areas and parasols around all pools.

The apartment consists of :

BEDROOMS: main bedroom with king size bed, plenty of wardrobe and storage space, full length mirror and mirror unit. Sliding door to terrace. The second has twin beds and the same wardrobe and storage facilities BOTH ROOMS HAVE INDEPENDENTLY CONTROLLED AIR CONDITIONING UNITS. SLIDING FLY SCREENS . ESSENTIAL IN THIS CLIMATE.

A cot is provided suitable from birth to approx 2 years. This is a top of the range 'Graco' and confirms to all UK safety standards. Handy for use as a play pen on the terrace. No extra charge for this. We do not provide the bedding for the cot, please bring your own.

LOUNGE: The spacious lounge is furnished with large sofa bed with enough seating for 6 , , 32" flatscreen TV, DVD player, coffee table, lamps, cushions a/c unit, a very relaxed and comfortable feel. Sliding doors to the gated terrace which is comfortably furnished with sofa, and chairs with additional dining space, making a perfect extra living area for the warm evenings.

KITCHEN AREA: breakfast bar, and stools, full oven and 4 ring hob, large fridge freezer, microwave and all the equipment you could possibly need.... you wont be looking for the tin opener or cork screw here. !

BATHROOM: with granite topped vanity unit, w.c./bidet, walk in shower, washing machine

There is a roof terrace giving wonderful views of the sea and mountains, an ideal place to watch the spectacular sunsets.

The apartment is kept cool by individually controlled a/c units in both bedrooms and living area. and the sliding screens at all windows and doors are a huge benefit letting in the cooling breezes without the flies.

The complex is administered by Arabic/English speaking staff.

Our Managers are Mohamed and Morad and they have been with Egyptian Experience from the very start. They good people who have their own families growing up at the complex. They are available during office hours and will answer any questions you may have.

Get U in pack can be ordered Please book in advance if required, payable to admin on arrival at the complex. basic items are provided tea/coffee/milk/juice/bread/butter/eggs/cleaning bits and bobs/water (important)

All payment to admin will be charged and paid in Egyptian Pounds. The apartment will be cleaned and beds made up ready for your arrival. Extra housekeeping services can be arranged by admin if you require it. Please ask for details at admin on arrival.

Please note, Utilities, electric,water,sewerage are charged seperately in Egyptian pounds. our staff will read the meters on your arrival and just before your leave, the prices you pay are exactly the same as I pay as the owner, nothing is added on.

This is my home when I am in Egypt and I have ensured that it will just that for you with all the added touches of lamps, rugs, cushions, DVDs, plenty of music c. for every taste.

Sliding fly screens are installed at all windows and patio doors and are an essential for letting in the cooling breezes without having to use air conditioning all the time

. In the kitchen you will find plenty of pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, glassware. even down to a cool bag for taking your drinks to the beach or pool.. In fact, everything you could possible need for a self catering holiday.

Sun lounger mattresses are provided for the exclusive use of S1 guests.Additional mattresses can be hired from our admin office. Should you require it a travel cot is provided free of charge and available in the apartment.

We do not provide bedding for this so please bring your own.

INTERNET. we TRY to offer this, but it is hard for me to keep this going when I am not in Egypt and not having a constant turn over of guests, you may find others say they have it... they probably don't and may not have updated information for a long time. Internet is always a problem in Egypt. However, the beaches, bars and restaurants offer free internet .

Getting around

Our admin office provide a great taxi service, and our drivers have been with us many years, they only work for our complex so you can be sure of a great service and safe driving. If you want to use the local buses they are great fun and very very cheap to use. Hire a car and travel further afield, or get a short flight to visit the sights of the pyramids.

Interaction with guest

If you are using our pick-up service you will be met at the airport by a member of our staff and then shown into the apartment where you will be handed the keys. If you are not using our transport you will be given the keys on arrival at the office.A small charge applies if you are not using our airport transfer service. please see further details in Owners Notes below the Calendar .

“Fantastic stay in a lovely apartment.”

We had the pleasure of staying in apartment S1 for October half term. The apartment is extremely well equipped having everything you need for a hassle free stay. The two bedrooms are very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen has everything you need and the bathroom was very newly fitted - very modern and contemporary. The patio/veranda area is large with a table & chairs at one end and a sofa and two chairs at the other - a very nice environment to enjoy a few gin and tonics! The veranda also looks over the main pool at EE, which is fantastic. The milkshakes at the pool bar are delicious! I can't recommend apartment S1 at EE enough. We had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to return. In fact we are planning next years trip already! Thank you Carole for all your assistance too with a hassle free booking.

S1 Apartment at the Egyptian Experience resort was amazing!!! I travelled with my husband and two teenage boys. The complex was very quiet when we arrived so we had the swimming pool more or less to ourselves. After a few days more people arrived which created a better atmosphere. We have been to Sharm at least 7 times and we love it there. We visited Sharks Bay beach(best place for snorkelling) and also Pataya Beach, but there are no fish here!?! The boys enjoyed a speed boat trip and quad biking in the desert. We had a lovely meal in the Mandarin Restaurant in Soho Square and in the Hard Rock Cafe on the evening of my Birthday. The staff there were great, they had me up singing Happy Birthday (embarrassing!!) My favourite places to visit while in Sharm are The Three Crowns pub and Eriks Bar!! (You should try his cheesy chips!). The location of the complex is slightly out of the way, but the office staff are brilliant and a taxi to Nabq Bay is only 20LE.......Carole, who owns this apartment is fantastic; very helpfu, she sent us all the information we could want before travelling and I even text her while there! Hopefully going back to Sharm in October...Can't wait!!!! Highly recommend this complex and this apartment, you should try it if you are confident enough to go self catering in Sharm!!! Happy Holidays.

Just returned from Egyptian Experience Apt S1. From the minute I decided to book to returning home Carol was excellent. This is the first time I have ever been self catering in Sharm and I must say it was lovely. The Apartment has everything you need just like being at home. I did something I don't do at home and that's sit and watch dvd and chillout. Would I go the Apartment again? Absolutaley!!! Thank you Carol for letting me stay in your home. Jayne xx

When we arrived we were collected from the airport and taken to S1. On arrival we collected keys from Brian and shown in the apartment... All very Smooth! Apartment has brillent amenities, everything you need in kitchen, great choice of DVDs in lounge, mobile phone and wifi was very useful. Swimming pools were also great. Thanks so much Carole being so efficient and letting us her apartment! We will be back!

We have just returned from lovely week in apartment S1 Egyptian Experience. Carole has been very helpful from the moment we booked our holiday, she has thought of everything. The apartment is very nice, clean and very comfortable. The apartment backs on to the swimming pool which is great. The staff are lovely and cannot do enough for you. We will definitely be going back.

The owner of this rental property goes out of her way to be helpful and it shows. Unlike other rental properties I have used, this one had everything, just as described, with much more room than you would normally expect for the price paid and included personal sun loungers and mats. Furthermore, the person in charge on site, was also excellent, meaning we had a totally stress free and enjoyable holiday, particularly good as this was our first time in Egypt. The location was quiet, which was what we wanted, although the property is on the flight path from the airport, but I actually enjoyed seeing the planes and took many photos, it does not impact on the location in any way. Internet access was not available and we struggled to get mobile Internet working, but hopefully this will be resolved by the admin office and it appeared to be a similar problem throughout this area. Trip advice was excellent and super value, go for the all day boat trip on the Red Sea, £18 for the day, including snorkeling, equipment, tea, coffee, soft drinks, lunch, collection and return to apartment, book on site to save money. For a quiet, friendly holiday, with guaranteed sun every day of the year, this is the place for you.

We stayed at this place for 9 days and everything was very efficient from the time we contacted Carole.What a sweet lady!The flat is really nice and clean,has that homey feeling,like somebody lives there full time.My son enjoyed the pool.The manager and the people that works at the office were just wonderful people.Responded right away to our requests.We probably could have stayed in Sharm for another week and not run out of things to do.We will definitely go back someday.Thank you again Carole for sharing your charming flat.

We really enjoyed our stay in S1. It is like a home from home with all the facilities you could hope for. Nicely decorated and cosy. A good surprise was the DVDs and books on offer as well which we made good use of!! It is a great family apartment with lots of room and a great balcony overlooking one of the three pools. It is the first time we have taken our little boy to the resort which we have visited many times and he really enjoyed it. Especially the little toddler pools. Norita from the resort made us feel very welcome and can help with requests etc such as taxis which is a great help especially for people new to the area. There are sun lounge cushions provided and a little shop and laundry if you need it. I would definitely recommend getting the welcome pack; great after a long journey and until you get your bearings. There is a great supermarket down the road and also a wealth of leaflets and brochures in the apartment so you really can eat whatever you fancy!! Would definitely recommend this apartment for a great holiday!!!

I have stayed at Egyptian Experience many times and S1 is one of the nicest apartments I have stayed in. The apartment has everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. It literally is home from home and beautifully furnished. Carole is fantastic with her pre-stay information and provided lots of information regarding the complex and also things to do in the surrounding area. I most definitely would recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to stay on this complex.

How do damage deposits work?

If Carole (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
