“WAS IT ALL A DREAM ?”

Owner's reply: Before I proceed: IF you could keep writing for 59 more days, you might end up with a best-selling manuscript about holidaying in Sharm... Think about it! I forgot what else I needed to say... :D On a serious note: thank you, thank you, thank you! We are still overwhelmed by all of this, but really very very happy that we were such a good match to you eating your cake but also keeping it... :) :D and that you enjoyed your holiday, which as new parents you must have needed so much and earned so well! It may have been the difference between arriving from a tiring flight, and leaving after a relaxing holiday, but what we saw on the final day, was a tanned, visibly TONED family, bursting with sunshine (or was it your sunny souls?) ... Nothing much to add, because all is already in there. Of course - so, so sorry for the pair of iPhones now filled with some nice salty Red Sea water... We took care to update us about trustworthy service shops in town, that might be able to help in these situations, which hopefully never repeat, though. We must also admit that, in a hot climate, walking (in the sun) is sometimes physically less pleasant than it normally might be. While Nabq is still the coolest (by temperature, but if wish can also read - by style ;) ;) ) ... of all Sharm locations. There is often a nice breeze even in summer, and our pools stay cool and fresh long after elsewhere they have turned soupy. We did learn from you as new parents and will be even more careful about cleaning and desinfection in the future, while happy to learn that your stay was free of medical troubles. To bring a new baby into a completely different environment and do so well - very impressed! Last but not least, I would like to extend separate thanks to you for choosing Egypt and Sharm el Sheikh for your long vacation - displaying such confidence in us and no doubt leaving a huge boost to the local economy and its various businesses. We are really extremely thankful, and honoured and moved. Have a lovely time raising sweet "Miss Junior" ;) :) and welcome back any time, to us or to Sharm el Sheikh!

Why can't I call Pia (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Pia (the owner) a message.

If Pia (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
