This nice home is newly renovated and is located in a green and countrylike close suburb called Kummelnäs very close to the water and lakes in Nacka. There are excellent bus connection that takes you to downtown Slussen in Stockholm. It is also possible to take a ferry to Stockholm or to the archipelago within a 20 min walk from the house.

“Lovely surprise”

I booked this apartment for a family holiday mostly because it was one of the few places left available in Stockholm over a very busy weekend! I was a little put off by the lack of photographs on the website, however during my email exchange with Patricia it became clear that this was going to be a lovely house. Indeed the advert does not do this house justice. The house is located in a lovely community / suburb, close to the lake and opposite a tennis court. From the inside and out the house is lovely, tastefully decorated with all the mod cons (including high speed internet) that you could possibly need. There is a lovely balcony out the front and a charming garden at the rear. The only thing to be aware of is that although this house is advertised to sleep 8 this is in the following configuration - 2 double beds, 1 sofabed (relatively comfortable), 2/3 children's beds. The children's beds are not really suitable for adults (being small single beds). Not suitable for people with mobility issues as the main living area is upstairs. You do need a car if you are staying in this house. We were able to park the car close to a ferry stop for easy access (5 minute) to the tourist islands. Overall a lovely trip.

We stayed here with our extended family for a week. Host was friendly and helpful, house was clean, well equipped and cosy. Convenient for ppl with car as facilities were a short distance away. Would definitely recommend to friends.

How do damage deposits work?
