A fantastic house located almost in the lake! The newly built sauna, on a deck floating on the lake, makes the experience of a stay here almost magical. To sit in the warm sauna at sun set, looking out over the lake and then just open the door and slip in to the cooler water is just amazing!!

During summer the water temperature rises to around 20-24 degrees celsius and for all that likes spending time in or around water it's the perfect place. Row to the nice restaurant at the other side of the lake for dinner or just take the canoe and explore the beaver nest or use your fishing gear to catch a pike!

!Attention! We have 2 cats and 5 Indian Running Ducks that needs to be taken care of during the stay. The cats stays mostly outside during summer and the ducks tend to like being in the lake.

Getting around

2 bus lines to choose between, one takes around 30 min to Stockholm and the other around 50-60 minutes. They depart 2 times/hour. The fares are pretty cheap, a 7-day ticket costs SEK 325 for adults and 220 youths up to 20 years. Or a 72-hour ticket for SEK 250/165.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Niklas (the owner) a message.

If Niklas (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
