Description

Latimer Lodgings is an attractively furnished studio apartment in a charming character home in uphill Nelson, 5 blocks to downtown and great restaurants, events and shopping. The suite is completely renovated, fully furnished & equipped and has its own private entrance, new kitchen, bamboo floors, granite counters, cozy gas fireplace as well as electric heat.

The apartment has a queen sized bed with a comfy mattress and all-cotton sheets and linens. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, full sized fridge, BBQ, small appliances including kettle, French press as well as drip coffee makers and toaster along with dishes, cutlery, pots and pans.

Some features include:

- comfy queen bed ( all cotton sheets and towels)

- TV with ROKU streaming for Netflix, Youtube & other sites (no cable tv)

- locked storage shed immediately adjacent to the suite for bikes, skis etc.

The suite is well suited for business and vacation travellers and is located a 7 minute walk downtown, and on the local bus route. There is street parking outside and secure storage for any gear you may bring.

We're located several blocks from Oso Negro for great coffee and treats which is en route to a number of amazing breakfast spots.

Nelson is a warm and friendly city with strong historic roots, a wide selection of great restaurants, a handsome downtown core and many local artists and crafters. Ainsworth Hot Springs, a natural hot springs popular with locals is a 30 minute drive away. There is lots of skiing and Whitewater Ski Hill is only 25 minutes away.

We're located in a beautiful mountain area of scenic drives, gorgeous waterways, picturesque towns and vibrant arts and crafts communities. Consider this your home away from home whether you're here on business or visiting our beautiful city!

Please note there are stairs to the house and to the apartment.

Why can't I call Liz (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Liz (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
