Description

This luxurious room is very economical and also has an attached private bathroom which consists of a washing machine which can be used by the guests. The room is situated in a peaceful and one of the most poshest areas of New Delhi. It also consists of free WiFi, air conditioner and water heater. We also provide day trips to the Taj Mahal and the 'Pink' City Jaipur or an extended trip of the Golden Triangle.

The space:

Newly renovated and centrally located, the property is situated in a quiet, serene gated colony with round the clock security. The UNESCO listed Humayun's Tomb built in the 16th century is a stone's throw away; which together with the lush greenery lends an archaic charm to this place.

The room has an en-suite bathroom, air-conditioner, water heater, iron, washing machine and free WiFi. There is regular water and electricity supply in the house. You can chill in the living area 24x7 surfing through channels of your choice on the LED. The apartment has a refrigerator, microwave oven, induction cooktop, coffee maker and washing machine which you can use for no additional cost. Transport is not an issue - the nearest bus stand is 250 meters away and the closest metro station is a 5 minutes drive. The inter-state railway station, where you can board a train to Agra, Jaipur or any other state in India, is barely 800 meters away. Airport transfers can be arranged with prior intimation. The community center is 5 minutes walk away where you can enjoy a game of tennis, basketball, table tennis and also attend free yoga classes.

You can enjoy a variety of Indian home cooked food (spiciness adjusted on request) prepared by my mom at a very nominal cost.

About the neighbourhood:

The presence of a lot of parks makes the neighbourhood very pretty, neat and green. Also, the old heritage monuments like the Humayun's Tomb, Khan-e-Khana tomb in the vicinity adds to the pleasure of staying in this naighbourhood which is ranked in the top 5 neighbourhoods of the capital, New Delhi. There are 2 taxi stands near my accommodation so taxis could be easily arranged. An auto stand and a metro station is a few metres and 1.6 kms away respectively. The neighbourhood has a market which has a classy cafe. The market also consists of a few grocery shops, a beauty salon, internet and telephone facility where you could top-up your phone, a tailor and a medical shop. The neighbourhood also has a Community Centre for residents with sports facilities like tennis, basketball, table tennis and badminton. The UNESCO listed Humayun's Tomb built in the 16th century is a stone's throw away; which together with the lush greenery, lends an archaic charm to this place. It is a gated neighborhood with security guards present at every gate. The railway station is a few metres away so if you are planning a trip to Agra or Jaipur, you need not worry about getting to the train station as it will take you just 5 minutes to get there. Popular high-street places like the Connaught Place, Khan Market, Defence Colony Market and the Hauz Khas Complex are just 10-15 minutes drive away. Nizamuddin East, the neighborhood in which the accommodation is situated, is one of the most peaceful and green neighborhoods of Delhi. It has got 32 public parks which makes the neighborhood very scenic and green.

It is a very green colony which has a number of parks in the vicinity. There is a huge park right behind the house which also has a small children's park.

Getting around:

The Nizamuddin Railway Station is 800 meters away and the New Delhi Railway station is just 6.5 kms away.

I live in the same house and will be available for any help 24x7. My mum and sister, who live next door, visit me everyday for a couple of hours during the day.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
