The house is decorated in a nautical motif with an array of soft tones and modern conveniences that mix tile and wood to create a modern home with a splash of nostalgia. All bedrooms, den and living room include a flat screen television with Blu-ray & DVD, WiFi, and cable.
Every level of the home, including the open-air, two car garage on the bottom, has a water view. Each story above the garage has a porch or balcony that overlooks the Atlantic or the surrounding marsh and Intracoastal Waterway. Also on the bottom level, surrounded by concrete, there is a private swimming pool and an outdoor bar area with a built-in gas grill outside the pool area. There is a pier providing access to the private boat dock with dock space for up to 4 boats and easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway.
Climb the stairs to the first level of habitation which houses three bedrooms, 3 full baths, a den/game room (Lyons' Den), and laundry room. Bedroom 1, the Surf Zone has a queen-sized bed, surfer motif, custom closet, TV, beautiful views of the ocean and shares a Jack-N-Jill bath with the Turtle's Nest next door. This bath includes a fiberglass tub/shower combo. Bedroom 2, the Turtle's Nest, includes two pyramid bunks (double on bottom, twin on top), custom closet, TV, beautiful views of the ocean, and an ottoman that folds out to a twin bed, i.e., sleeper chair. This is the perfect room for all of the teenagers or little ones. Bedroom 3, the Atlantic Bubble, is a full master suite with a king size bed, shell motif, beautiful views of the sound, private access to the deck, custom his & hers closets, TV and master bath including double vanity, heated towel rack and tiled shower.
The Lyons' Den is the lounge area on this level. It includes a large, flat screen TV, surround sound, a felt poker table, built-in custom bar with mini-fridge, full bath with fiberglass shower and access to the deck. This room boasts astounding views of the Atlantic, Intracoastal Waterway, dock and marsh. A queen sized rollout airbed is available to allow this room to be used as an extra bedroom. Also, recently added as a 2019 upgrade is a queen fold down Murphy Bed.
The laundry room boasts sink, cabinets, iron and ironing board, and two sets of washers/dryers.
The top floor houses the open kitchen, dining room and living room, off of which is the very spacious covered balcony boasting gorgeous views of the ocean, marsh and intracoastal. There is a small powder room as well as another master suite on this floor. The master suite, the Admiral's Quarters, includes a king size bed, nautical motif, beautiful ocean views, custom closet, TV and private access to the front porch. The master bath includes a tile shower and heated towel rack.
This home is located just across the street from the beach and has deeded ocean access with a walkway to the beach.
LINENS ARE PROVIDED WITH BEDS MADE FOR YOUR ARRIVAL YEAR ROUND AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. (SLEEPER SOFAS WILL NOT BE MADE BEFOREHAND.)
THIS HOME IS WEDDING AND EVENT FRIENDLY WITH A $500.00 EVENT FEE ALONG WITH A $250.00 CLEANING FEE. THERE WILL BE A $1000.00 REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT. THE SECURITY DEPOSIT WAIVER WILL NOT APPLY TO WEDDING AND EVENTS.
THERE IS A PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL (unheated) AND IT IS OPEN STARTING THE FIRST SATURDAY IN MAY THROUGH THE LAST SATURDAY IN OCTOBER. THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THE USE OF THE POOL DURING THESE TIMES.
