An unforgettable experience. Our goal is to make you feel that Fava is your own home and Santorini, your island.

The Fava Eco-Residences are housed in a group of splendid and unique captain houses of the mid 19th century, located at the highest point of the traditional village of Finikia. The architects and owners of the property started the rebuilt in the 1980's with love and devotion and they transformed the properties into a spacious and modern, though with respect to the original traditional form, complex of summer houses. Today, the villas offer their hospitality in individual fully furnished self-catering apartments of various size and aesthetics. They offer a sense of 19th century history, combined and harmonized with modern amenities and serviced by 24/7 concierge staff, located in the heart of the most picturesque and virgin from the tourist development village of the island. Fava is just a stone's throw from the magnificent Oia and away from the crowds and noise. During the reconstruction there were used methods following the bioclimatic sustainable vernacular architecture and materials which are eco-friendly with low embodied energy. All houses have wonderful views over the village, the famous sunset of the island and the Aegean Sea with the close by Ios, Sikinos and Folegandros islands on the horizon.

All houses have daily maid cleaning service and change of towels.Change of linen every two days. The breakfast is included in the price. Every morning, a traditional basket with local organic delicacies such as rusks, homemade marmelade, thyme honey, butter, Santorinian tomatoes, cheese from Cyclades and a seasonal fruit will be delivered to your door.

A tray with warm dishes such as free range eggs, prepared by our staff according to your choice, local sausages of excellent quality and pancakes made in the traditional way of our island , will complete your Greek Breakfast every day.

Scirocco Suite is a traditional, sunny and luxurious apartment of 48 m2 total area that accommodates up to 4 persons. The house offers spacious and elegant areas for living, dining, sleeping and enjoying Santorini as it originally was 2 centuries ago. There is a large unified living and dining area that is accompanied by a small though fully equipped kitchen and a cozy bathroom with shower. The living area can accommodate 2 persons in normal single beds. A Pine timber staircase leads to the upper floor, where the main bedroom and it's king size bed is situated. The suite has two private sunny outdoor sitting areas, one on each level that provide magnificent 180o Degrees Sea and Sunset views. The apartment is furnished with 19th century wooden antiques and with old pictures according to the traditional naval history of the first owners. The internal temperature varies from 21 to 25 Degrees Celsius throughout the summer period due to the bioclimatic vernacular construction of the residence. In the house you will also find Air-conditioning, 24-7 Wi-Fi access, iron and ironing board, 32 inch plasma TV with satellite channels, hair dryer, CD player with Classical Music CD's and multilingual Books. You are given the opportunity to live in Santorini like you own your private house.

Our concierge will be your personal guide, whatever you might want to ask or need assistance to do.
