Overlooking the entrance to Portsmouth Harbour, this 4th floor apartment, with lift, offers spectacular views from its west facing sitting room - you feel you can almost touch every ship that uses the harbour. An ever changing vista - harbour and across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. Comfortable and welcoming accommodation complete with balcony. Within easy walking distance of a host of waterside attractions and amenities. From the bathroom and bedroom windows you can also see the famous Spinnaker Tower and the futuristic headquarters of BAR (Ben Ainslie Racing). This is home to the UK team challenging for yachting's most prestigious prize - The America's Cup. Nightly prices quoted are for two people in the apartment. Our pricing is based on two people using the apartment and therefore a small additional price of £10 per night per person for the third and fourth person staying in the apartment.

My parents have just come back from a weeks stay, they absolutely loved this apartment. Ben was very kind as it was the last Pompey game of the season so let Mum & Dad arrive earlier than usual and was there to meet them and show them how things worked etc, nothing was too much trouble. An amazing hamper of top quality goodies was left on arrival, they were absolutely thrilled with this!. Mum and Dad did a fair amount of walking (didn’t use the car once!) and spent many hours just sat watching the ships go by... would recommend staying here to everyone!. Thankyou Ben for your hospitality - Mum and Dad had a fantastic break.
First class apartment situated right at the entrance to Portsmouth harbour great for watching shipping coming and going. Apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Walking distance to all attractions including HMS Victory, Mary Rose and Gunwharf Quays. Secure gated parking so you can park up and forget the car.

A really comfortable apartment and very clean A fantastic view where you can watch the ships all day. And a lovely welcome pack with lots of lovey things like fresh bread, butter, milk tea and lots more. I would really recommend staying here.

Fabulous apartment , with amazing views a wonderful place to be for are 30th wedding anniversary. . The property had everything you needed very well equip .we could sit and watch the boats sailing in and out, very relaxing plus we had a few sunny days which was lovely to sit out on the balcony . The booking process was straight forward and Lesley was help . On arrival we met Ben at the apartment, he was friendly he showed us round . Looking forward to are next stay John Andrea

“Excellent flat with fantastic harbour views.”
The booking arrangements with Lesley were very straightforward with a quick response. Most things have already been said about this flat and I would agree with them all. The flat is well furnished with everything needed for a very comfortable holiday. With the views we stayed in much of the time watching the variety of boats coming and going all the time. The finishing touch was the weather which for September was great. If visiting Portsmouth again would not hesitate to stay in this flat.

“Can't beat this place !”
This is my second visit to this fabulous apartment & I hope future visits will follow too! A truly great place to enjoy a relaxed & peaceful break away. A stay in this property is guaranteed to relax n recharge the batteries n make you forget the normal hustle n bustle of life ! The property itself is first class , decorated to a very high standard with everything you could need to hand . . As for the views they are out of this world ..could sit and watch the boats sail by all day & lots to do nearby if you do want to venture out. The booking process with Lesley is always very smooth & communication with her and the owners of the property faultless , a stay at this property is defiantly worth treating yourself too , worth every penny and you won't regret it !

“Great location in Old Portsmouth”
A very pleasant stay in a well furnished and equipped apartment. A welcome pack of basic items plus yummy goodies waiting for us was a nice surprise. Although we did not use it, the secure parking is a definite bonus. We travelled by train and spent the week wandering along historic Walls towards Southsea one way, stopping to visit the Royal Garrison Church which is very interesting, and to the Spinnaker in Gunwharf Quays in the opposite direction. Further on from there is the Historic Naval Dockyard. The view from the fourth floor apartment is stunning, plenty of activity on the water to keep you entertained throughout the day. After a week of fantastic weather, we were reluctant to leave and would love to return some time. The whole booking process was very efficient, and the owners Ben and Sharon were on hand to greet us on arrival.

My husband and I wanted a location with a view in Portsmouth where we could take our daughter and eldest granddaughter shopping and round the dockyard. What better place than Spice Island apartment!! On arrival we were met by the lovely owners who showed us where to safely park our car (and this is where it stayed during the whole of our stay). They showed us around the apartment and explained how to work the heating etc. The apartment itself was just as described and photographed. It had beautiful views from every room, including the bathroom. The view from the lounge/dining area was fantastic. The whole apartment was furnished to a high standard and everything for a comfortable stay was provided - even a tray of goodies, thank you very much. The beds were comfortable and the bedding of a good quality, as were the towels. We would have happily stayed in the apartment all day watching the ever changing view. The shops and all the attractions of Portsmouth Dockyard were within easy walking distance, as were shops for any food we needed. We will certainly choose this apartment again when next staying in Portsmouth.

“Amazing apartment with all you would ever need”
We really loved spice island apartment. Not only was the owner very welcoming when we arrived, he showed us around the apartment & very kindly left us a welcome pack which was not expected but very nice !!. Such a cosy stay with lovely little homely touches. Amazing views out of all the windows and no need to use a car as there are lots of things to see & do right on the door step. Would not hesitate to return again another time.

“Wonderful holiday apartment”
I'm not sure I want to tell other people about this wonderful apartment as it will become too popular! We have visited Portsmouth quite a few times now and this is the nicest place we have stayed. The apartment is beautifully furnished and equipped and very comfortable. The view from the living room is spectacular and it was hard to tear ourselves away. Ben and Sharon were there to meet us when we arrived to show us around and left us a lovely basket of goodies which was much appreciated. We had a lovely holiday and will hopefully be back one day.
