Description

I have a newly decorated house with new furniture. Kitchen fully furnished with all electrical equipment provided. There is a quiet and private garden surounding the house, and the yard has stunning views of the countryside between Ourém and Fátima, looking towards Serra d'Aire. The house is within walking distance from the Castelo de Ourém (the house is on the hillside below the castle). Many historical buildings are close to the property, and we are within driving distance of Tomar and Fátima. Also, we are 30km away from the beach.

Homemade meals are provided upon request, as well as cultural exchange experiences in cooking, baking bread and cookies outside in the wooden oven. We can make aromatic olive oil and vinigar with herbs that we will pick up. I usually teach those who are interested how to make liqueurs and fruit jams. If there is the season we can help the neighbourg making cheese.

I also have a convertable-top Jeep for rides through the countryside as well as bikes. Green Swimming pool ready for summer. The garden has got tropical rain for children to play, a tree house as well as dolls house with games and toys, a trampolin and a tent set in the garden for those who want camping!!! I will be around to help you in whatever you need and i'm free to guide you around. No families staying with us have regreted it so we are pleased to recieve you!

The fee is per double room ! You may have to share the kitchen and bathrooms with other guests.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sandra (the owner) a message.

If Sandra (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
