Description

Villa Caroline is a Five bedroom villa located located at “La Marvel” in Dona Paula, the lovers paradise of Goa.

La Marvel is a swanky up-market residential enclave located eastward to the Palace of Cabo, the former estate of the viceroy and other Portuguese royalties. It was the viceregal seat since 1918, and housed a Portuguese fort erected in the seventeenth century to guard the entrance of the Goa harbour, by crossfiring its cannons. It is presently the official residence of the Govenor of Goa.

Villa Caroline is located in the hammer-shaped part of Dona Paula headland dividing the Zuari and Mandovi estuaries, known as La Marvel. It offers pleasant view from the top of the peninsula of the Mira Mar beach, Dona Paula Bay, and The National Institute of Oceanography. A walk down the road offer you a sight of the ruins of a military cemetry built by the British at the time of their brief occupation of the Cabo Fort during the Napoleonic wars - a move intended to deter the French from invading Goa.

Villa Caroline has five large double bedrooms with en-suite toilet having hot & cold shower, large scenic balconies, each bedroom having its own character and style with excellent finishes, with amenities such as satellite T.V, air conditioning, and quality linen.

The general amenities include lounge, patios, swimming pool, dining hall, and a self use kitchen. We provide a high standard of house keeping services and security.

Casa Caroline can be booked as individual rooms or as clusters for a larger group, and accommodates a maximum of ten persons.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Bryan (the owner) a message.

If Bryan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
