AS PART OF A FOUR FLOOR 1928 MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR GATED ESTATE THE GROUNDS ON A CLEAR DAY REVEAL A GLIMPSE OF THE OCEAN IN THE DISTANCE. ALL OUR ROOMS ARE IMMACULATE. WE LOVE FAST WiFi & CLEAN SPACES AND HOPE YOU DO TOO!

The listing is not a guest house, but a private guest room. We're in the hills above the Pasadena Rose Bowl, close to the Pasadena Convention Center and within walking distance to hiking trails overlooking JPL - NASA and La Cañada. We are Hollywood, Universal Studios close (about 25 Mins - also reachable by Metro) and 45 Minutes from Disneyland. We're a short ride from HRC.

This Spanish Mediterranean estate was originally built by two women from Chicago in the roaring 20’s. The home is on the national register of historic places and is particularly noted for its rare collection of 1920‘s Batchelder tile. Mr. Batchelder was a famous maker of art tiles and leader of the American Arts and Crafts Movement as well as founder of the Pasadena Playhouse. The hand-made tiles while typically only found sparingly used around fireplaces abound in the Great Room of the home with an entire floor made of this rare and unique tile.

Visual delights are everywhere from a massive Indian “floating door” in the living room to Mughal empire inspired tapestry crafted of golden thread and semi-precious stones of Kashmiri origin. Ancient thrown pots from Israel sit atop intricately carved wooden columns surrounded by Brazilian antiques nestled within a 35 foot high cathedral ceiling. A 12th Century Cambodian Apsara the female spirit of the clouds and waters quietly bemuse our guests while Moroccan glow lanterns adorn Persian artifacts and antique tea pots on display. Have your morning tea or coffee outside on the veranda overlooking Los Angeles

This is a quiet serene place of reflection, rebirth and rejuvenation.We're walk-able to the famous New Years Day Rose Parade! The perfect Route 66 stopover for travelers. Rose Bowl, HRC 診所 & Pasadena Convention Center close. We're hosts to many Jet Propulsion Laboratory - JPL contract assignments and Pasadena Rose Bowl Stadium goers alike.

Ruby-throated hummingbirds, wild parrots and Great Horned Owls in the evening abound naturally in this completely gated magical yet majestic setting. Extraordinarily quiet this home overlooking the Annandale golf course and views of the city is a place to relax in the evenings next to the outdoor fire place chimenea and take in the spectacular sunsets with a glass of wine or sun tea.

The estate in the past has been both a filming location, as well as a backdrop to international model celebrity shoots and host to multiple fund-raising events with indoor/outdoor cocktail parties exceeding a guest list of over 100 on special request.
