Description

Located on a quiet street walking distance to everything, this suite is in our 1926 character home downtown Penticton.

There's over 1100 square feet of living space. The kitchenette is brand new. There are three beds, a queen, a double sofa bed and a single bed. There's a 42" TV with a DVD, Netflix. There's wifi, of course. It is a basement suite but it's completely renovated and very cozy. Very cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

The laundry room for the house is off the entrance to the suite but there is a second door for privacy. If you rent longer terms during the winter months, we'll organize times if we need to come down and do laundry so as to not disturb you. Also, should you need to do laundry, please ask and we'll make arrangements.

It is an old house with lots of creaks and noises. The plumbing can make make some noise as do our children and often we have little control over either so please consider this before booking.

There's a large backyard with a BBQ. It is a shared space, but please enjoy it.

You will have Wifi, HD cable TV, DVD Blu-ray, a DVD library and board games. There is a gourmet kitchenette . In addition to the two bedrooms, there is a double sofa bed in the living room. In the den, there are some yoga mats and there's room for an air mattress for an extra sleeping space. There are BBQs in the backyard for your use.

Some of the best restaurants in the city are within walking distance. It's less than a 5 minute walk to Main St and the Saturday Farmers' Market. There is a Yoga studio near, a gym and Cross Fit. The Bike Barn 3 minutes away for Granfondo and triathlon types.

We have special rates for shadow seasons of late Spring and early Fall, as well as low rates for the Winter months. Please inquire.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
