Description

Located in the northwest section of Philadelphia. This is a second floor studio apartment with a separate entrance, double bed, drop-leaf table for eating/working, private bath and kitchenette. The kitchenette has two burners, small prep area, sink, refrigerator with plates, pot/pan, utensils for you to prepare a meal. The coffee pot and microwave are on the table as space is limited. For your comfort in the summer, we install a window air conditioner and there is a fan for another option. You are welcome to sit on the porch and watch people go by, a Philly activity we call 'on the stoop'.

The Neighborhood

Germantown is a historic section of Philadelphia were one of the Revolutionary War Battles was fought; where the first-ever American protest against slavery was written and where one of the few remaining houses on the Underground Railroad still stands. A culturally and economically diverse community full of entrepreneurs with unique restaurants sure to accommodate your appetite. We are close to the Germantown Friends School, Pennsylvania School for the Deaf, LaSalle University, Philadelphia University and Drexel School of Medicine.

Getting around

We are convenient to public transportation. SEPTA bus lines are on the corner, Regional Rail is availalble five blocks from the house and bicycle paths create another option. There is a free public parking lot with in the block and free street parking on the adjacent street.

We had a wonderful time staying in Philadelphia. The apartment was fine and worked out great for us. We enjoyed sight seeing and also attended a wedding!

How do damage deposits work?
