This adorable cottage tucked away in exclusive Woodland Valley, outside of Phoenicia NY is the perfect place for anyone who wants to get away from the chaos of the city but doesn't want to travel too far -- 2 hours by car from GWB and 2 ½ by bus. The house is set up like a luxury private escape; soaps, shampoo's, quality sheets and towels make this a great value. Truly a romantic paradise.

The house has 2 bedrooms, second bedroom is a spectacular loft overlooking the main floor -- wake up in a tree house! 1 full bath, kitchen, living and dining rooms. Hike al fresco amongst the trees and under the crystal clear sky (no light pollution here)! Don't forget to enjoy cocktails on the deck and watch the sunset over the mountains or snuggle up in front of the stacked bluestone fireplace or wood burning stove. The open design lends the sense of space but makes you feel cozy and tucked away at the same time.

Don't go anywhere and enjoy your own personal slice of the beautiful Catskills, or take advantage of the location and stroll down main street Phoenicia, have breakfast at Sweet Sue's, and shop at the local shops like Tenderland Home after your morning hike. Access the local attractions in nearby Woodstock and see what the talk is all about in this legendary town. Restaurants, shopping, theatre, live music, and artists' galleries abound.

This is the perfect time to take advantage of the beauty and serenity of the mountains. Belleayre Mountain is 10 minutes away, Hunter Mountain only 15 minutes and Wyndham Ski Area, Ski Plattekill, and Frost Valley are only a little further. The house is set up with a mudroom area, take off your boots and relax by the fire.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If MJ (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
