The Douro Valley has become the place to visit in Portugal. Home to the World renown Port Wines and its dramatic escarpment hills and mountains.

Although the villa has a rural aspect and location, you will be pleasantly surprised how easily you can access 'civilisation' when you feel the need.

The charming riverside town of Pinhao is only 2 minutes away and has nice cafes, bars and restaurants. You can reach Pinhao by train from Porto or an easy and comfortable motorway journey which from next year will be approx 1hr 20 minutes from the airport.

The house boasts a host of luxury fixtures and fittings with no expense spared.

The are four double bedrooms - all en-suite - all with patio doors giving direct access to the veranda and the spectacular views.

The villa has a large open plan lounge, dining room and chill out area - all of which enjoy floor to ceiling panoramic windows providing spectacular views.

The kitchen is fully equipped to the highest standard with every imaginable piece of equipment.

There is a lower ground floor which boasts a huge space to relax and entertain. Here you will find a full size pool table, a bar and chill-out entertainment area.

There is also a room with a fabulous Jacuzzi that has 270 degree panoramic views to the river and across the valley.

You can directly access the stunning outside space.

This comprises of a water channel into the infinity pool

A dedicated outdoor cooking area, complete with a charcoal grill and a wood fired oven and wash/preparation area and sink.

There are two further dining tables positioned around the property. One is next to the main kitchen entrance and there is another next to the BBQ area.

This is quite simply one of the most modern luxury villas in the region and is the perfect place for you your family and friends to sit back and enjoy the very heart of the North of Portugal and the Douro Valley

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
