Description

The ground floor apartment, located in the countryside, only 10 minutes away from the waterfalls, water mills, restaurants, bars and The Korana River Swimming area.

Also it takes 15 minutes walking distance to reach the center of the town, supermarkets and Bus stop.

Nature Lovers - This Place is for you!

• This unit is completely self-contained and it has separate entrance, private covered terrace and direct access to private backyard setting.

The apartment is for a maximum of 5 people and is ideal base for those wishing to be within easy reach of all main attractions.

It's a modern studio flat comprises of a bedroom with double bed, a living room with a corner sofa bed and one single sofa bed, bathroom with shower and an fully equipped kitchen.

A comfortable corner sofa bed in the living room can be made into a double bed.

Kitchen is equipped with an under the counter fridge, oven, stove, toaster and kettle. We also provide a coffee and tea for those morning caffeine fixes.

Bathroom is equipped with shower, towels, hair dryer, shampoo/soap/shower gel and other toiletries.

• The nightly price is for 1 or 2 guests sharing the bed. Your reservation can be upgraded up to 3 additional guest (1 double and 1 single bed) for an extra fee of €15 per guest/per night.

The price and "minimum night stay" varies depending on the time of year.

Our calendar is always up to date, so what you see available online is totally accurate and there's no need to double check with us first.

PLACES TO GO AND THINGS TO DO:

• Plitvice Lakes National Park - the oldest and most known Croatian National Park. Plitvice is an ensemble of 16 natural lakes, interconnected by countless waterfalls at different elevations. It is an UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its breathtaking views, its fauna and the unique turquoise waters.

It takes 25 mins of drive to reach the Park.

• Rastoke Falls - mini Plitvice Lakes. This historical water mill village and a protected area of the town Slunj is 10 minute walk from the Apartment. It is an old part of Slunj known for the flows of the rivers, Slunjcica into the river Korana, whose flows create a chain of waterfalls, rapids, pools and cascades. The aura the Rastoke Falls gives, shows how a human can live in harmony with nature, and being there is like being in a fairy tale. There are also a couple of restaurants and cafes with terraces above and at the edge of the river and waterfalls. 'Petro' being one of the best restaurants there.

• A 5km long walking trail along the river Slunjcica - from the small wooden bridge cross the River Slunjcica (below the castle), all the way to the underground spring that creates the River.

• Historical ruins such as 'Old Town Slunj' with the Castle Zrinski and Frankopan (during the Ottoman occupation) and Napoleon's Castle (during the French occupation)

• Barac's Caves

• Swimming in the rivers Korana and Mreznica

• Fly fishing on the River Slunjcica,

• Kayaking, canoeing and rafting on the River Mreznica

• Bike trails - 110 km asphalt and macadam roads

• Quad Biking (ATV), Bowling, Horseback riding, Hiking and Jogging in the forest

• Adrenaline adventures: zip – line, paintball, archery, etc.

Our style is to give guests total privacy, but to be available if you need anything. We'll meet you at check in to show you how things work and answer any questions. We live in the same building and if we are not there we are available via phone or text to provide advice, directions, etc. should you need them.

• CHECK-IN is anytime after 4pm, however, we will always try to be flexible with the times of check-in.
If you are arriving earlier, you can ask about dropping off luggage, as it will depend on what's happening with our cleaning schedule.
Also, if you are arriving after 8pm notify us of this, so that we are not waiting up late for you.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
