Description

We have two cottages set in the beautiful Breton countryside, fully renovated to a high standard, with a games barn, full size snooker table, 5mtr x 10mtr heated outdoor swimming pool and a pottery/craft studio where you can make a totally unique piece of pottery or craft to take home with you. Nearby bars and restaurants, beaches within easy reach. Free Wifi. English & French Satellite TV (with English Skye freeview channels). Laundry Facilities and all of our guests can enjoy a Brittany Ferries Discount on their fares.

LAUREL COTTAGE is a three bedroom property, all of the bedrooms are carpeted and have plenty of hanging and drawer space. Bedroom 1 has a double bed. Bedroom 2 has two single beds. Bedroom 3 is a large room which has 2 double beds and plenty of extra space for another single bed and/or cot if needed. There is a family bathroom with thermostatically controlled walk in shower, toilet and wash basin on the first floor and an en suite wash room with toilet and wash basin in Bedroom 3.

Downstairs is an open plan living area that has a comfortable seating area with two sofas, coffee table, satellite television (showing English Skye freeview channels) and a DVD Player. The dining area has a dining table and six chairs. The kitchen area is fully fitted and equipped and has a gas hob and oven, microwave oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, electric toaster, electric kettle and a filter coffee maker.

There are radiators on the ground floor, landing, bathroom and two bedrooms on First Floor all controlled by a central thermostat in main house. Second Floor bedroom has an electric heater.

There is also an outside seating area with patio table, chairs and a barbecue.

FUCHSIA COTTAGE has two comfortable, carpeted bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and Bedroom 2 has two single beds. Both rooms have plenty of hanging and drawer space.

Downstairs is an open plan living area with a comfortable sitting area that has a sofa and two armchairs, satellite television (showing English Skye freeview channels) and a DVD Player. The dining area has a dining table with four chairs. The kitchen area is fully fitted and equipped with a gas oven and hob, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, electric toaster, electric kettle and a filter coffee maker.

The family bathroom is downstairs in this property and consists of a thermostatically controlled walk in shower, toilet and a vanity unit housing the wash basin.

There is a private sitting area to the front of the cottage which has a patio table, chairs and a barbecue.

We do have our own animals including a few dogs and several cats so our guests are also welcome to bring their pets so long as they are well behaved and kept under control at all times. There is an additional charge of £50.00 (55 Euros) per pet for the duration of your stay.

Between the months of September to May any heating used is an additional charge.

PLEASE NOTE: During the months of July and August our changeover day is Thursday. This enables guests to take advantage of the cheaper weekday ferry fares. During the rest of the year there are no restrictions on chageover days, you can arrive and leave whenever suits you.

Special interest holidays:

Pottery and Craft Holidays. We will arrange your art and craft holiday entirely around the things that you want to do and experience. We offer short breaks, self catering or all inclusive holidays and you can choose to bring your own transport or be picked up from our nearest Port or Airport and chauffeur driven for you stay. You can either concentrate on just one of the many subjects we cover, choose several options to have a go at or embrace the whole lot....depending, of course, on how long you intend to stay with us. There are lots of arts and craft classes to enjoy on our specially tailored holidays. Please contact Owners for further details.

Coast/Beach:

There are an abundance of beautiful beaches within drivable distance, the nearest ones being within about thirty minutes. They range from expanses of golden sand to rocky outcrops and hidden away coves. Lots of the beaches have watersports that you can participate in and fantastic towns that have lovely restaurants and original shops.

Our nearest villages are Plouguenast and Ploeuc-sur-Lie,about 6 minutes away, the latter of which has a market every Thursday. The larger towns of Loudeac, St. Brieuc and Pontivy are within 30/40 minutes away. Brittany is a beautiful place and as such has an abundance of places of interest, beaches, lakes and historical towns to visit.

PLEASE NOTE: OUR SWIMMING POOL IS A HEATED OUTDOOR POOL AND IS OPEN FROM MID-MAY TO MID-OCTOBER.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
