Here at La Metairie we take pride in the quality if our holiday homes, prefect for a romantic getaway or a family holiday. In a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, each cottage offers well quipped kitchens, tastefully furnished oak beamed living areas with wood burning stoves, T.V. and DVD players, comfortable bedrooms some en-suite. All cottages have their own patios or garden area with garden furniture and BBQ.

Well equipped kitchen with Electric oven, Gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and microwave. Bedroom with two twin beds. Bedroom with bunk beds. Large Shower room with Toilet and wash basin.

1st Floor: Bedroom with double four poster bed. En-Suite Bathroom with bath, separate shower, WC and wash basin.

La Metairie is prefect for young families having large garden areas and secure designated play areas situated away from driveways and car parking for their entertainment modern swings and slides, a tree house, a 'school' house with blackboard and play kitchen. Play hut with pool table, table football and table tennis. And most importantly our securely fenced key accessed heated swimming pool has a well equipped sun terrace to relax with a book or sunbath.

“Perfect family holiday”

The Coach House met all our expectations. The house was clean with everything we needed and the facilities were superb for us with our three young children. The pool was lovely (and warm!) with plenty of sunbeds and toys for the pool. There was so much for them to do including playing on the trampoline, table tennis, table football, and playing school and shop for the little ones in the play house. They were entertained for hours on end! There is also so much to do in the area that we'll have to come back to discover what we didn't get to do this time around!

“Great set up for the kids - and therefore the adults as well...”

We had a great two weeks. Adrian & Joanne couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. The property is well appointed and looked after, and the grounds and pool were great for the children. It's in a very peaceful setting, with the only drawback in terms of the location being the need to get in the car to get any food, etc. Overall, fantastic for young families.

My wife, my daughter (age 8) and I had a wonderful 2 weeks staying in the Coach House. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, especially allowing us to stay Tuesday to Tuesday. The house was beautifully situated in the French countryside and was spacious, clean and well appointed and fine for the three of us but would still be fine for 6, which it can sleep. It was lovely having the patio outside with table and chairs, sun loungers, parasol and BBQ. There was a large garden with so much for the children to play on (trampoline, slides, climbing frame, play house & games room) and a lovely outdoor pool complete with a slide and a number of play things and sun loungers close by. Our daughter enjoyed playing with the other guests' and host's children in the safe environment of the garden, enabling the adults to relax too. We had 12 out of 14 days of glorious sunshine, with 2 rainy days which we used to visit museums in Lorient. We visited a different beach each of the other days, along with villages, markets, theme parks and other typical coastal attractions. We probably spent at least 20 minutes getting to some of these places but the roads are easy and places are well signed. If you stay here you have to be aware that there will be children running around having fun, so it is not the quietest but at least they are enjoying themselves and tiring themselves out so you can enjoy a quiet night!

“Great Set-up in Great Location”

Came to the coach house with my two daughters and partner and enjoyed it immensely. Pool was great, and the kids enjoyed the huge garden with slides,swings, trampoline - you name it! House was clean and confortable with two bathrooms and a kitchen with good utilities (except a coffee/tea pot)... The surrounding area was beautiful and Joanne and Adrian were very friendly. I would recommend the coach house to my friends and family.

The Coachhouse is a nice and complete house, with lots of space indoor and excellent outdoor area. The property offers excellent possibilities for children to play outside and a nice swimming pool. The service Joanne and Adrian offered was good, most questions were sorted out quickly.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Joanne (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
