Far from traffic jams and endless noise, Lake Street Cottage in Port Albert is the ideal spot for a quiet, relaxing vacation.

Bring your family or come with friends. You can even bring the dog. Frolic on the beaches of Lake Huron during the summer or cosy up to the fireplace in spring and fall.

Rentals are in Canadian $. High season is between July and August. In Canadian, our rates range from $295 to $450 Canadian, plus applicable taxes and fees.

A Renovated Cottage

Completely renovated in 2015, this well cared for a vacation rental is a step above the usual cottage offerings. All the conveniences of home with the comfort of an excellent hotel. Lots of space both indoors and out to enjoy each other’s company.

Lounge on the huge wrap-around deck and let the soothing rhythm of waves melt away your stress. Savour a barbeque dinner on the covered patio.

At sundown, take a short stroll to where the trees open up. You may want your camera to capture the spectacular show as the sun melts into Lake Huron.

Later, enjoy an evening around the campfire. Roast marshmallows and be awed by the brilliance of the Milky Way and stars above.

Located on a private road, this oh-so-clean, three-bedroom cottage sleeps seven. Open, spacious rooms with lots of windows let the fresh breezes flow through. Overhead fans cool things down on a rare hot day.

Linger over meals prepared in the well-equipped kitchen. Quality furnishings provide comfortable seating for long casual conversations, or rainy days spent watching movies in HD on Netflix.

Private access to the uncrowded beach is a short walk down the hill. While most have no trouble managing the incline, for those who need to drive, parking on private property at the beach can be arranged.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Keith (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
