Description

Our 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom guesthouse is located in a very private large rural setting on 400 acres of property running along the Otter River. It's a fantastic place for family get togethers, reunions, parties or for just relaxing and enjoying nature. The house is 2000 square feet and has lots of privacy for large groups. There are 2 large screen satellite TV's, and two woodstoves which we supply the wood for - one in the basement family room and the other in the "outdoor family room" (garage). Besides the 5 bedrooms there are two bunk beds and several comfortable couches and cots for overflow sleeping. We supply all the bedding for the beds (except the bunk beds) and have lots of extra pillows and comforters for guests to use. The house is fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans, small appliances - all you need to bring is food and clothing. Outside there's a front porch with chairs, back deck, propane BBQ and great firepit which again we supply the wood for. The large treed lot is perfect for pitching tents or setting up campers. We have two "bunkies" right on the property which are loved by our guests for overflow sleeping. Each can sleep 3 in beds, or cots can also be set up. Again pillows are supplied but you have to bring your own bedding or sleeping bags. There's lots to do any time of year - hiking our 10 miles of trails, swimming in our spring fed pond, fishing in the pond or river, biking (some bikes supplied), visiting the beach at Port Burwell which is 7 minutes away, or just relax in the beautiful nature surrounding you. In the winter you can snowshoe, toboggan or snowmobile on the trail which runs through our property. Campfires are amazing any time of year!
Pricing depends on the number of bedrooms being used by guests. Even if you only use one bedroom, you have full access to the whole house and no one else will be there but you!

One bedroom rate per night $150 Two is $200 Three is $250 Four is $300 Five is $350
We charge a $100 refundable cleaning/damage deposit for all first time guests. We gladly refund it before you leave if the house is left clean and in good condition.

To book we require a deposit of 1/3 the total rent

How do damage deposits work?
