Description

The luxury villas at this five-star resort are a rare find on beautiful Lake Joseph. For those who prefer to enjoy their vacations in high style, with almost every amenity on site, the all-season Muskokan Club Resort offers you the perfect place to enjoy Ontario's magnificent Muskoka area at any time of the year!

We have two adjacent villas that generally go for $995 a night during the high season, but we offer off-season specials at considerably lower rates. Come and indulge for an entire week, or for a 2-3 day mid-week or week-end luxury get-a-way!

Weekly rentals go from Monday to Monday. Or come from Monday through Thursday; or Friday through Sunday or Monday!

This lovely villa, with its 3 luxuriously appointed bedrooms and 4 bathrooms accommodates 8 people. Or, take both villas if you want to host a larger group of up to 16.

This magnificent, year-round holiday villa is part of the exclusive Muskokan Resort Club located on Lake Joseph, widely reputed to be the most beautiful lake in the Muskokas.

In addition to the lovely accommodations, the resort offers second-to-none activities and amenities that include boating; swimming in a safe, sandy, shallow beach (perfect for the kids!) or in their beautiful carved-into-the mountain swimming pool; kayaks, paddleboats,state-of-the-art tennis, basketball and shuffleboard courts. For the winter season (and all-year-round), we offer a well-equipped fitness centre, spa facilities; a hot tub and a sauna, and a designer playground. Cross-country skiing and snowboarding trails are available nearby. Also nearby are excellent multi-purpose hiking, biking , horseback-riding trails, museums, fine restaurants and shopping.

The villa itself, set amid picturesque landscaping, and within a stone's throw of the lake is a spacious, elegantly appointed home-away-from-home, containing every comfort and luxury to make your stay absolutely perfect. The great room is graced with a cathedral ceiling and a floor-to-ceiling natural stone fireplace that, vie for attention with the huge picture windows that overlook the lake. Elegant, but comfortable sofas and chairs surround the fireplace and also provide seating for viewing a large HD TV and DVD player. When needed, the sofa can be opened into a comfortable queen size bed to sleep two. Another beautiful bathroom services the public areas of the main floor. The heavy wooden dining table lends a country flavour to the modern hi-tech kitchen which features stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops. Dishes, glassware and cooking utensils are all included. A double-glass door leads you from the dining room to the Muskokan room, with more comfortable seating to facilitate entertaining and wonderful conversation. From this room, as well as directly from the dining room, you can exit onto the spacious porch that houses the man-size barbeque that awaits your sizzling steaks. The downstairs den doubles as a bedroom, with a pull-out double bed and its own ensuite bathroom.

Upstairs, the master bedroom features a massive King size bed, with double-doors leading to your oversize deck on which you can watch the sun set into the lake. The second upstairs bedroom has two double beds as well as another HD Tv and an ensuite bathroom.

If you care to venture out of your luxurious private retreat you will find no shortage of free activities and entertainment on the premises. Aside from the water activities, tennis, basketball, hockey, volleyball, and shuffleboard courts await your pleasure. Adjacent to the courts, a safe and imaginative playground will entertain the little ones. For indoor activities, the clubhouse features a well-equipped games room, billiards room and private movie theatre. The lakeside boathouse offers a gorgeous, well-equipped lake-view fitness centre, a large outdoor hot tub, a dry-heat sauna, and various spa services by appointment. And in the evening, a firepit surrounded by comfortable (Muskokan) chairs will roast your marshmellows, keep you warm, and help you remember all your favorite campfire songs.

Beyond the resort itself, there are endless activities and places of interest to explore. Lush golf courses are just a short pontoon ride (provided by management) away. Nearby trails offer exciting hiking and biking adventures. The Trans-Canada Trail and Algonquin park are within easy driving distance. If you're in the mood for some culture, Muskoka's many museums are a vibrant testimony to this area's rich and varied history. And if you still have time and are so inclined, nearby towns offer fine dining opportunities and unique shopping experiences.

Less than two hours from Toronto, but worlds away, the Muskokan Resort provides the setting for the holiday of your dreams! Sorry, pets are not allowed in this elegant villa.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
