Description

Villa Johanne is a very charming cottage with a little touch of romance attached to it. Inside the cottage you will find a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need and more combined with a cozy living room. There is a full bathroom with all the accessories (shampoo, rinse, shower gel). The Queen size bedroom has an electric fire place, flat screen TV/DVD and WiFi. Villa Johanne can sleep a total of 4 adults with the use of the double pull out couch in the living room area.

On the property you will find propane BBQ, a nice fire pit including fire wood and a large picnic table. The front large deck has sitting area and table with extra lounge chairs to sit around the fire pit, perfect to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or just relaxing in the evening. If you wish to have a family reunion and need more space for other guests, I suggest that you also rent Port "O"Pierre which is next to Villa Johanne. Being side by side makes it more accessible between both parties.

Five minutes of walking from the cottages will get you to our marina if you’re going fishing or you want to take in the sea air. Tomi’s Home Cooking is just accross the street and The Coastal Kitchen Café and The Renfrew Pub are 10 minute walk away if you get tired of your own cooking. A General store including beer, wine and the hard stuff are located about 1km from the cottage on Parkinson Road. It’s a good idea though to stock up on groceries on your way to Port Renfrew in Sooke or Cowichan Lake if you are travelling from the other direction.

The Pacific Gateway Marina is 2 min of walking distance where you can go fishing the world class salmon and halibut or if you just want to take in the sea air. Enjoy a hike/walk through are exceptional Pacific Northwest Rainforest or beautiful beaches perfect for a swim, canoeing, kayaking, snorkelling, or scuba diving. Go storm watching at Botanical Beach and/or enjoy the abundant wildlife and the magnificent forest of Avatar Grove a photographer's dream.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
