We are five minutes from the Parris Island gate and ten minutes from Historic downtown Beaufort, SC. Two minutes to a small beach!

Come and enjoy your stay at The Sands Cottage. You are going to fall in LOVE with this place and the location just as I have!

Our cottage is located in the heart of the Old Village of Port Royal.

Walk everywhere or take the golf cart!

PARKING : Ample parking for cars, boats on trailer's and rv’s.

PROPERTY : Comes with a golf cart and (2) Bicycles

LIVING AREA: Flat screen tv with Roku, Netflix, Sling and Pandora are free for our guest! Euro oak wood floors, Pottery Barn style couch and chairs along with playing cards and board games for those rainy days.

KITCHEN: Has a handcrafted bench that surrounds our table that seats six. We have a fully equipped kitchen. New kenmore appliances include glass top stove/oven and microwave. Toaster, blender and Keurig. ( Bring your own K cups) Plates and glassware etc.

BEDROOM # 1 : We have two twin beds with a place to hang your clothes and a small dresser.

BEDROOM # 2 : Queen bed, closet with hangers and a dresser.

BEDROOM # 3 : Queen bed with a private bath, Flat screen tv with a smart blue ray enjoy Netflix or Pandora or watch one our movies we have chosen, a few that were filmed around Beaufort. Walk in closet with iron and ironing board.

BEDROOMS : All of our beds have new premium Serta mattresses. Bedrooms have 60 year old reclaimed pine floors that are just beautiful! Alarm clocks so you will not be late for a date! Beds have fresh linens, blankets and bedspreads. Our beds have pillows (3) on the Queens and (2) on the twins.

BATHROOMS : All bathrooms have heated tile. Towels, wash cloths, bar soap, shampoo and blow dryer. Bathrooms are a tub and shower combo with makeup mirrors.

LAUNDARY ROOM : New Whirlpool stack washer and dryer.

We supply washing detergent.

OUTSIDE : Our deck has a table with chairs to enjoy time spent together. We have party lights down below where you can sit and spend some time around the burn barrel or play a game of corn hole. We have a large stainless gas grill for cooking out steaks or burgers.

There is a YMCA located on Richmond Ave. Take a swim in the indoor pool or sign up for a spinning class!

Museums in our area include, The Verdier House (Downtown Beaufort), Low Country Estuarium ( 16th Street Port Royal),Penn Center Inc. Cultural Program (Martin Luther King Drive), The Parris Island Museum ( Parris Island), The exhibits focus on the long and honored history and traditions of the Marine Corps. On display are artifacts covering Port Royal's important military role from the American Revolution to the Civil war.

In downtown Beaufort there is a number of wonderful shops located on Bay Street.

From more than ten art galleries to many boutique shops, gift and souvenir shops, antiques dealers, to specialty clothing stores, and expert jewelers, you’re certain to find something that strikes your fancy.

Beachcombers remember to bring your beach towels!

A short walk to the sands where you can look for prehistoric fossils such as shark's teeth. Enjoy our boardwalk at the sands you can walk to the observation tower and you can see Parris Island and watch the dolphins and sea turtles.

THE SANDS : Has a boat ramp where you can launch anything from a paddle board to a sportfisher! Plus you can fish off of the pier!

DAMAGE PROTECTION : We will ask that you leave a credit card on file with us at the time of your arrival. No charges will be made to your card unless there are damages to our house and or property. Thank you for choosing our home for your stay.
