Whether you’re a couple, solo adventurer, business traveller or family, this is your ideal getaway spot! Take advantage of Bonnie Lake Resort’s amazing amenities or de-stress by the waterfront. If you're looking to explore, visit some of the quaint small towns nearby. The people, the ambiance, the outdoors — there are so many reasons to love this place!

The Space:

This Bonnie Lake cottage might be just what you need to reconnect with nature! The cottage is lake facing (just 60 feet from the water) so you’ll always have spectacular views! When you’re not relaxing on the beautiful sandy beach, embark on an adventure! Discover unique bird species and wildlife while enjoying miles upon miles of nature trails. After a long day outdoors, come back to the cottage and grill your dinner with the BBQ on site!

In your spare time, take advantage of the resort’s amenities including: the playground, recreational centre, horseshoe pits, tennis courts, multi-sports court, pedal boats, canoes, kayaks and standup paddle boards. Have a break at the resort’s mini store, which sells snacks and hot drinks daily. If you plan on leaving the resort, consider booking a guided pontoon boat tour at one of Bonnie Lake’s close-by sister resorts! Reception will gladly assist you with this.

The resort also offers Kidz Klub Activities to keep the little ones entertained! Along with fun activities for the kids, Bonnie Lake is home to mascots Darren the Heron, Ricky the Raccoon and Sally the Skunk! There’s never a dull moment!

Guest Access:

You'll have the entire place to yourself — make it your home away from home! This cottage permits four guests (two adults and two children).

Bonnie Lake features a private 200 acre, spring fed lake with over 1,100 acres of private, unspoiled wilderness. The resort is located just a quick 15 minute drive from the lovely town of Bracebridge.

The area surrounding Bonnie Lake Resort is full of exciting things to do! Santa's Village, a family entertainment park, is less than 30 minutes away. If you're looking to reconnect with nature, consider going to Algonquin Park! The renowned provincial park is just over an hour away.

Getting Around:

If you're driving, we have parking available! Once you arrive, you won't need your car — explore the resort by foot!

Bonnie Lake Resort prides itself on making great moments and resort experiences for all guests. The family-friendly community has strict policies, so be sure to respect them. To keep the lake pure and the air fresh, Bonnie Lake does not allow motorized boats.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
