Description

Our Home:

Set on the shorelines of the Atlantic Ocean, with Prainha de Baixos lighthouse as a focal point, this bright, open, spacious home is suitable for anyone just wanting to relax for a few days and simply enjoy the views, or for the more adventurous to scour the local venues and landscape.

This house has everything you need and is super comfortable and spacious.

T and I are always changing things up within the house and we are contented to call it home.

This home will suit couples, small groups of hikers, cyclists or keen fishermen.

We welcome all!

Getting around

***We are located 25 minutes from the airport so we STRONGLY suggest renting a car/scooter at the airport or locally, ahead of time, particularly in the busy season as there is a limited number and they run out fast! There is a bus system, however not a great one, with very limited runs, so PLEASE be aware and be prepared..*** Once you are here it is up to you how you want to get around. Walking is a great to discover the local area, but a car would be ideal, so that you can truly explore all that the island has to offer. Many little hidden gems and secret spots to discover..

Interaction with guest

T and I are here and there and everywhere, but we will definitely help out with any information or advice you may need. Just ask. No stress. We speak English, Norwegian, broken Italian, a little Spanish and trying our best at Portuguese ;)

Why can't I call Marianna (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Marianna (the owner) a message.

If Marianna (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
