“Amazing Villa Stay”
The villa is well located in a quiet residential area at the bottom of a cul de sac, it is close to a number of local amenenties that can be reached on foot, car, bus or taxi. The villa has a comprehensive information booklet with lots of hints and tips to help you have a very enjoyable stay. The villa is very well equipped with everything you might need and more for a chilled out stay. The outside space of the villa is amazing lots of areas for sunbathing, lounging, eating and of course swimming. The pool has amazing colour changing lights which are just mesmerising and hypnotic to watch at night and there are other fairly lights around the swing seat and the pagoda which just gives the villa a lovely ambience. The open uninterrupted views of the sea were great and there is a gate and path which takes you to the coastal path with lovely walks in both directions. We were a group of 6 - 3 mature couples and the villa ticked every box for us, WiFi and satellite tv was good. We recommend the Bakers Arms for the fantastic steak pie and this is within walking distance - turn right at the top of the cul de sac and then right again at the fork in the road. Really good food with very generous portions and both food and drink reasonably priced. We also recommend Mojitos in Pernera for breakfast very very good was just a shame we only found this restaurant at the end of our stay. We also booked a private trip to Famagusta and the ghost town we did this through Andreas, left his details in the information book and this was very good 150 Euros for our group of six. It was for four hours and he tailored the timings and order of what we visited to suit us. All in all we had a fabulous and relaxing time at the villa and we would definitely book again in the future. Many thanks to Sue and Lance who were brilliant at communicating with us before, during and after our stay.
Owner's reply: Hi there. I would just like to say thankyou for taking the trouble to write such a detailed review of your stay, it really helps other guests settle in especially the tips with the restaurants, I'm pleased you like the fairy and pool lights. I think it all helps to create the atmosphere, Lance is not so sure as he is the one that has to put them up and change them!! Look forward to welcoming you back to the Villa anytime. Kind Regards Sue + Lance
5 of 5 My family and myself 3 Adult and 2 children (11/12) spent an amazing week at the Villa which is well located to access other areas and the local beach. It sits proudly at the end of a private cul-de-sac and has the most amazing see views a real peaceful retreat. We were not disappointed the Villa was spacious, well maintained and clean. The facilities provided everything you need for an enjoyable and relaxed stay, "home from home" When we arrived (which was late) there was a welcome pack of staples which we very much appreciated. The swimming pool provided so much fun for the family and their was an array of inflatables. There is plenty of sun beds and a plethora of garden furniture which we used for our Al Fresco dining, great atmosphere in the evening with the little lights on. There is great internet access and an Xbox which my 12 your old grandson enjoyed at times. We used the local bus 6 euros one way and this facilitated us going to Pennera, Protarus and Paralimini, however we did use local taxis at time which varied between 8-12 Euros one way depending on time and it is good to agree a price before you embark on your journey. The restraunt a short walk from the villa the Country House Pub was closed the week we were there but there are so many other choices that it was not a problem. The local supermarket sells most things. The beach a short walk away is a Sandy Cove beautiful and pretty with a couple of restraunts on the costal path. We enjoyed our trip on the Famous Red Bus to Famagusta and Varosha, this represented good value and the hosts Alan and Clive were knowlegable and fun. We also attended the Flower Festival in Protarus which had a real carnival feel. There is lots of information at the Villa which helps to orientate you to the area and is full of suggestions from other guests on activities, local restraunts etc. The team who look after the villa are on hand if you have any problems or you need any help. We had neither but reassuring to know there is someone you can contact. Last but not least - The Customer Service and Booking Process - I cannot speak highly enough of both Sue and Lance who made everything so easy. I had many questions before departure and all were answered fully. Sue even found me a hairdresser (Marion) who came to the villa to style my hair for a wedding I was attending. Both Sue and Lance went above and beyond what would be expected from a holiday booking and we look forward to a return stay. Review Submitted: May 17, 2017 Date of Stay: May 2017
Owner's reply: HI Kate Thank you so much for this fanastic review, Im sure our future guests will find this useful Im pleased that you explored the island and enjoyed the wedding. As for your comments it was a pleasure and we look forward to welcoming you back very soon. Kind Regards
Just returned from a two week stay in Atlantis villa Cyprus. Already missing the place!!! Second stay at Atlantis and it was just what we remembered if not better. Lovely big spacious villa, there was 9 of us altogether and didn't feel on top of each other at all. The cottage pub become our regular and they serve the best chips! Beautiful beaches nearby and lovely friendly people in the local supermarket and pub. All of us had a fantastic time and I'm sure we will return for our third stay sometime in the future. Bettinson family Stayed from 31st July to 14th August 2016.
Owner's reply: Hello the Bettinson Family So pleased you thought the villa was better than last time. We do try and make improvements. Im glad you found the local pub. George and his family are really good fun. I must admit I have never had a cocktail in a pint glass, great measures but he did pretty it up with a few brollys! We look forward to welcoming you all back again soon Kind Regards Sue
“Well equipped villa in wonderfull position”
Hi Sue We are back home and already missing Cyprus and the lovely weather. I hope it is still hot and sunny for you this week. We really enjoyed our stay in Atlantis Villa. We have been to Cyprus many times but this was our first visit for six years, it was lovely to be back. We always used to stay in hotels but did stay in a villa last time we were there and found it much more relaxing. Your villa is in a beautiful position with amazing views. It is also so quiet and not overlooked like so many villas advertised. It was very well equipped, I don't like to do much cooking whilst on holiday but anything you could ask for was there. An amazing selection of plates glasses etc. There was plenty to see on the tv with dvds and the media player. The washing machine was useful for washing swimwear and we also washed the beach towels a couple of times too. The bedrooms were all lovely and the beds really comfortable. We particularly liked the pool and patio area, this was larger than most villas and as I mentioned before hardly overlooked at all. We were visited a few times by Ginger the lovely dog from next door! He is so friendly. There are plenty of sunbeds and chairs to relax in, Iwan especially liked the rockers! We ate out several times in Pernera, our favourite restaurant being Kalamies, their seabass is possibly the best I have had. We also went into Ayia Napa several times as there are places there we have been going to for years. It was nice to have a bar within walking distance and we went a few times on our way back from eating out. It was also a good place to watch the rugby! Our daughter and her boyfriend spent more time there than we did! We would definitely be interested in a return visit to Atlantis when we next go to Cyprus either next year or the year after. The only thing we found that was a little difficult was having just the one key as we didn't always all go out and come back at the same time. I wondered if it would be possible to have a second key, not necessarily with another key fob, then if the girls and their partners were out later than us they could use the spare key to get in when they came back. We had a great time and were sorry to leave but hope to return Thank you for your excellent directions and general organisation, it could not have been better! Regards Sharon
Owner's reply: Hi Sharon Thank you for your very informative review, Im sure our future guests will find it really useful. I take on board your comment about the one key and we have installed an outdoor key safe to sort this out. Look forward to welcoming you back again
“5 star luxury villa in beautiful location , cannot rate highly enough.”
Myself, husband and two adult children[ ages 27 and 23 ] had a most enjoyable two week stay. Booked it through Owners Direct and contacted by Sue who explained everything and made the process very simple. The villa is luxurious and the generosity of the owners is illustrated by what they offer, food cupboard stocked with basics, tea sugar, spices, cereal etc. As well as this they show their consideration by including such things as beach towels, free air con, multi media with dvds and films galore, not too mention all the information left at the villa with 'where to eat ' recommendations, how to travel, car hire, taxi numbers, local buses as well as credit on a mobile phone left to make inexpensive local calls. The villa is in a tranquil spot with terrific sea views and the outside space with dining area, barbecue, loungers not too mention the lovely pool has everything you could possibly need. On our last day, as there was no immediate occupancy, we were able to stay in the villa until time to leave for the airport. Ayia Triada, where the villa is located is a quiet resort. It has lovely beaches within easy walking distance. For eating out there are a few local restaurants but the choice and quality of food at eateries in Pernera was excellent and most nights we caught local buses, which run very frequently and stop only a few 100 metres away and for 1.5 Euros will take you along the coast through Pernera, Protarus, Ayia Napa and run throughout the day and night. Also the taxis are very cheap and numerous. One recommendation would be to use ' Go rent a car'- Sue gave us their details. The cars are not new but reliable, you can book online and you dont get hassled to pay any extra excess, you only pay the price they quote. We hired the car for the full length of our stay, were met by their rep, pick up and drop off the car at Larnaca airport. I like to think I give honest reviews and this is the first review where I have nothing negative to say. Thankyou Sue.
Owner's reply: Hi Jen Thank you so much for being great guests. Your always welcome, see you next year. Sue and Lance
“wonderful villa, briliant location”
Atlantis villa is situated in the perfect location at the end of a small quiet cul-de-sac. It has fantastic sea views, so relaxing to watch the sea and boats go by and outdoors has large seated area (plenty of comfort!) and a good sized pool. It was extremely well equipped with everything you could wish for and very clean and comfortable. It is in a great place to explore the area by car, foot (beaches within easy walking distance!) and local bus. Protarus and Paralimni not far away and a trip to the Troodos mountains was wonderful. Excellent places to eat nearby too! Though gas BBQ available to use by pool! All in all this was a fantastic holiday in perfect accommodation!
Owner's reply: HI Really please that you had a nice time, and that you managed to use the New Gas BBQ. We do have a traditional Cypriot BBQ but some of our regular guests suggested that a Gas BBQ would be nice, and your right the sea views do help the chef!
“Great Villa in a Fantastic location”
Great Villa in a Fantastic location. walking distance to a couple of beaches, small supermarkets and a handful of places to eat. the bus stops just at the top of the cul-de-sac which will take you pretty much anywhere for one euro fifty. the villa is clean and has everything you could possibly need and more All in all a great place to stay, thanks Sue
Owner's reply: HI I am so pleased you had a nice holiday and made the most of the little bus that runs every half hour, it runs into the early hours so great for those who want to have an evening out. Look forward to welcoming you back again soon Sue
“Everything we could ask for!”
Just returned from a week long stay at Atlantis Villa with friends & we loved every minute of it! There were 6 of us in total (aged 21-25) & the villa had everything we could ask for! The private pool was a godsend in the hot weather (35-40degrees) & the Xbox gave us girls some much needed peace with the boys spending a few hours a day on Fifa! There are 2 lovely beaches within walking distance - one at Aiya Triada which is fairly quiet & laid back (10min walk turning right out of the villa), one near the Golden Coast Hotel which is busier with beach games & watersports (25min walk along the costal path). There are also a few bars within walking distance, although the majority of places need to be driven to. There is a bus stop a few minutes walk away but we always used Go Taxis as their prices were very reasonable with fantastic & prompt service. We ate out a few times but also did a lot of cooking at the villa - the outdoor BBQ is perfect for doing lunch & the kitchen is very well equipped with all utensils, pots & pans. Jan & Sue who manage the villa along with their husbands are extremely helpful. We had a minor issue with the temperature of the freezer (if it is filled & left open for more than a few minutes or opened regularly the temperature drops & takes a few hours to correct itself) which they offered advice on over the phone & called back the next morning to check all was ok. They also looked after our luggage for us on our last day as we had to vacate the villa by 11am but weren't leaving until the evening - they took our bags then dropped them back to us at Bar 88 later in the afternoon, it's was much appreciated! Sue Round (owner of the villa) was very helpful from my first enquiry until returning yesterday. It made the whole booking very easy! I would recommend the villa to everyone & will definitely return in the near future. Thank you Sue!!
Owner's reply: Im so pleased you enjoyed your stay and were able to get a few BBQs in. Ash has sorted out the fridge, mind you he did say that it may have been the number of times the lads opened the door for a beer!lol I will keep the mint toped up ready for your next stay and a few Mojitos!
“Spacious and well equipped Villa”
Having stayed in other Villas in the area, we found Atlantis Villa the best by far, very well equipped with nothing forgotten. The views are just wonderful and you could sit all day and watch the boats going past from the comfort of the abundant furniture outside. The pool was just heaven when the temperatures rose and was cleaned twice during our weeks stay. Sue and Jan were very helpful and attended to any query immediately. We hired a car from Julianna car rental in Kapparris who were very easy to deal with and collected and returned us to the airport. The neighbours who are mostly Cypriot were very friendly when we saw them but mostly had the place to ourselves. Plenty of really good eating places in the village and surrounding areas. All in all we had a most enjoyable stay and will definitely be back.
Owner's reply: Hi We are so pleased you had a nice time, It is relaxing watching the boats go by. I look forward to welcoming you back again, hopefully for a longer stay next time
