This riverside holiday property boasts its own private pontoon with fishing licence and if fishing is your passion there are plenty of carp, catfish, bream, bass, barble, chubb, roach etc in the Lot river waiting to be caught. There are also canoes which can be borrowed free of charge and a 3.5m rowing boat. You can swim in the river or in the wood-frame, above-ground pool in the garden. If water sports are not your thing then there is a spacious deck and a covered balcony overlooking the river where you can relax and enjoy the ambiance. The property also has bikes you can use and there are marked trails to follow for cycling and walking or you can head off on your own into the beautiful countryside. Puy l'Evêque has all the necessary amenities as well as cafés and restaurants and there are plenty of villages along the river Lot to explore or you can see them from the river on a river cruise boat which goes through some of the locks . A bit further afield is Cahors (33kms) the centre of the wine region, with its famous pont Valentré. The Saturday morning market is well worth a visit. For the children there is an aerial park in Pradines (28kms), horse-riding in Lacapelle Cabanac (9kms) as well as pedaloes and electirc boats to hire on the river. The property has been tastefully modernised with all the essentials for a comfortable stay and is completely safe for young children.. - Free parking on site

“Rental deposit not returned at the end of rental period.”

The house was apparently not cleaned to a specific standard! This included us not descaling the kettle! Our vacation was ruined. I would not reconmend this place.

Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
