Description

Gite la Fleurieu is a beautifully converted stone farmhouse set in 12 acres of stunning countryside, woodlands and views of the surrounding valley.

Brand new 10x5m private, infinity style swimming pool with stunning views ovr the valley and decked terrace with plenty of sunloungers for all the family, built in 2016.

This three bedroom, two bathroom, family Gite, provides luxury, self-catering accommodation and is set in a peaceful location just a ten minute walk from the centre of the medieval town of Puy l'Éveque and the River Lot.

The gite covers the two top floors of the original farmhouse and is self-contained with private access.

Time and care has been taken in restoring the property, to leave the original beams exposed and to retain many of the original features. The finishes have been carefully thought though and beautiful flagstone tiles have been laid in the living area, first-floor bedroom, kitchen and front terrace.

On the first floor, there is a spacious, double bedroom, with a solid oak five-bar gate, framed bed. The bed is fitted with crisp, white Egyptian cotton sheets.

The large airy bathroom has a luxurious slipper bath and a spacious walk-in shower. The original beams are exposed and there are stunning views over the surrounding countryside and woodland.

The recently renovated attic conversion, provides two double bedrooms and a shower room with toilet. The first bedroom has two single beds, which can also be made into a king-size. This bedroom also provides access to the attic master bedroom, ideal for a family.

The large attic master bedroom, has been beautifully renovated to leave the original beams intact and is fitted with Egyptian white cotton.

Situated next to the south-facing terrace, there is a newly fitted, modern kitchen. The large butler sink and oak worktops give a country feel, while equipped with everything you need for your stay. Including - oven & child-safety induction hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine.

The living area, has private access to both the front and rear terrace with an LCD television with English Freeview channels.

Terraces

Gite la Fleurieu has it's own two private terraces. These provide private access to the gite for our guests. The South-facing terrace ajoins the kitchen, perfect for alfresco dining, while the large rear terrace looks out over stunning countryside and hills, a great place to relax and enjoy an evening aperitif.

The gite is self-contained and blocked off from the ground floor of the farmhouse and the barn, where the owners, Samantha & Andrew live. The owners are very discrete, yet on hand to help you with anything during your stay.

To help you relax into your stay with us, we provide you with a Gite la Fleurieu hamper. This includes - Local fresh bread, jam, milk, butter, cheeses and of course a bottle of the local Cahors wine, selected from one of the vineyards that can be seen from the property.

Your kitchen will be stocked up with the staples - tea and coffee, oil, herbs, salt and pepper and washing liquids. As well as an iron and ironing board

There is a table tennis table and badminton facilities for your use, children's games to keep the younger ones entertained, as well as a BBQ for those summer evenings.

We have ample parking and a secure bike lockup, if hiring or bringing your own bikes.

We also offer a private wine-tasting experience at La Fleurieu - How to taste like a Wine-maker.

How do damage deposits work?
