Please note: The pool, clubhouse and hot tubs will be closed in 2020 due to Covid-19. A warm welcome to our beautiful Sweet Escape! Beautifully decorated, your home away from home will relax you from the first moment you step in the door. A complimentary bottle of wine awaits you. The cottage has 2 master suites with queen pillow top mattresses, fine down comforters with a choice of memory foam or down pillows. In the living room you will find a deluxe fold out air bed that accommodates two. Our living room has a stone fireplace for cooler days with flat screen TV, Bose sound system, books and games to play. The rustic solid acacia dining room table seats 8 on recycled teak or leather chairs. On the patio you will find the barbeque, table seating for six and a lounger as well as wicker sofa to breathe in the sea air. A few houses away is the gorgeous beach. The beach area has a fire-pit, sandy space and steps to the ocean. You will find everything you need to make your stay a memorable one, gourmet kitchen with induction range with other stainless appliances and stunning granite. The bathrooms have unusual granite counters, heated floors and towel racks, decorated in an classic yet modern style. The garage has 2 bicycles and helmets for your use and pleasure. The tennis court is open now.
The village of Qualicum Beach is a charming yet well equipped small town. Small gourmet restaurants, Qualicum Foods and quaint shops will delight you. A scallop farm is within walking distance of your cottage which can provide the finest varieties of this little ocean gem - open seasonally. Many pubs dot the Oceanside route. The market at Coombs with the famous "goats on the roof" goodies including fine cheeses, and awesome bakery will meet all your needs. For those who are adventurous, the Horne Lake Caves are very close with rappeling or tiny tunnels to squeeze through or there are cave tours that are more open. Close by are winery tours, mini-golf, horse-back riding, boat rentals, parks and activities - discover your own favourites. There is also golfing, golfing, golfing!! 8 public courses, one only 5 minutes away. There is skiing at Mt. Washington only an hour away. Qualicum offers something for everyone.

One pet under 20 lbs allowed only. Must be on leash at all times outside. Nothing but water and soap down sinks or toilet paper down toilets - no grease, no wipes, or anything plastic. Our septic system is sensitive.

- Why can't I call Chris and Linda (the owner) before booking?
You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.
If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.
- How do damage deposits work?
In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

- How do I pay the balance of my holiday?
You can pay the remaining balance of your holiday at any point. Simply go to Manage my holiday booking and click Pay now.
We’ll automatically charge the balance payment to the same payment method 10 days before it’s due. Go to Manage my holiday booking to see when the payment will be taken.
- How can I retract my booking request?
You’ll need to contact Chris and Linda (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.
- How do I cancel my booking?
Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.
- How do I edit my booking?
You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Chris and Linda (the owner) a message.
If Chris and Linda (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
