Admire the tranquil beauty of the beach only steps from your door. This ocean side cottage and location is perfect for week-long vacations, getaways, writer's retreats and house hunting visits. Experience this new fully contained, one bedroom cottage attached to the family's new main home, located on private oceanfront property. Park at your door, walk around the house and step onto the sandy beach, feel the gentle sea breeze and dip your toes into the warm summer waters of the Inside Passage. Explore the tidal pools and marvel at their marine life as you walk the miles of quiet beach. Fill your days with swimming, sightseeing, golfing and soaking up the sun. Finish your day with dinner on the patio and a spectacular sunset. The evening summer cruise ships pass by between you and Lasqueti, Texada and Denman Islands as well as the mainland coast of the Vancouver area. A maximum of four guests are allowed with this being ideal for two adults and two children.This beautiful ocean side property is located just 10 minutes from the quaint Town of Qualicum Beach and 10 minutes in the other direction from the small City of Parksville, both located in the central Vancouver Island area. A world of activities and adventures lies at your fingertips. Add just a few more minutes to your drive and you will have the opportunity to experience 7 golf courses, 2 mini-golf sites, 3 marinas, 3 lakes, walking and hiking trails within lush forests and roaring waterfalls to name just a few. Day trips to Tofino on the west coast, historical Chemanius, known as the Town of Murals, to the south and spectacular Mount Washington to the north can easily completed within a few hours. The capital city of Victoria is only a two and a half hour drive south. Between here and there one can visit and explore many more towns and communities, each one having it's own history and venues to please any tourist. You may like to add bungy jumping and underground caving to your list of experiences while visiting. For those in relaxation mode many spa facilities, impressive art galleries, interesting museums, antique stores and unique shops await your visit. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Andy&Sandy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
