Were 3 miles off Route 13. Surrounding roads are limited to local traffic- 1 to 2 cars an hour and usually less which and makes them very safe for walking, jogging and biking. Nearby local and regional events include Rehoboth Jazz festival, Rehoboth Independent Film Festival, Nascar, Firefly, Big Barrel, Delaware State Fair, The Harrington Casino and Horse Track. Two hours to Washington, Philadelphia, New Jersey & four hours to New York.Popular beaches close by include Slaughter Beach-19 miles, Rehoboth- 29 miles. Bethany- 47 & O.C.- 57 miles. On your next trip here you you can check out the HARRINGTON RACEWAY AND CASINO (7 miles in Harrington De)- The Horse Track is a lot of fun and the standard breeds run Monday thru Thursday. Prime Rib Buffet in the clubhouse is $13.00 and mixed drinks 4- 5 . Minimum bet is just $2.00. The Casino is next door and has 4 pubs/buffets and several shows too.

This is a nice quiet residence and the property is beautiful. We went to several beach's, Dog Fish Brewery and hiking. Hostess was accommodating and helpful.

Owner's reply: Thanks for your awesome review of the loft space). So glad you liked it here. The outdoor shower is an awesome spot. We built it in a gazebo, next to an 150 year old oak tree in the middle of the woods and overlooking 80 acres of working farm- right now growing corn. In October when its cut and the land fallow we again look forward to watching the wildlife, deer, foxes, herons, eagles, turkeys... in the back field. We look forward to your next visit:)

Its quite safe as traffic is limited to local traffic and usually only 1 to 2 cars an hour and usually less.Next time you visit you might want to check out the beach which is just 17 miles from here.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Pat (the owner) a message.

If Pat (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
