Description

Welcome to the valley! This is one of the Deluxe Tiny Homes at Basecamp 550. What makes it deluxe? Well, it's larger than any other dwelling at camp with a whopping 400 sf of space. This tiny home comes with the amenities of home on a much smaller scale, but still comfortable for up to four people. Hand picked furnishings and the vast picture window and deck make this unit extra special with first class views!

This tiny home is centrally located the lower tier at Basecamp 550. You can enjoy views of the valley floor that lies just in front of our local 14er, Mount Sneffels from the inside the tiny which features a large picture window. The tiny home is clean and cozy, furnished with hand picked items that brings the space alive! Keep in mind, we are constantly finding new pieces and switching things around when it comes to accessories and decor. The unit you book may have some slight changes from what the pictures show but keeping the overall aesthetic the same . That being said, the amenities will always be consistent among the units and their descriptions in the listings.

As you enter, you'll arrive in the hangout space which has a comfy sofa for relaxing and taking the views. Beyond that is the kitchen with a 4-burner convection oven, microwave, sink, coffee maker, toaster, full size refrigerator/freezer and a small dining area. Kitchen cupboards are stocked with dishes, cookware and your basic olive oil, salt and pepper. Also on the main floor is the bathroom which has a toilet, shower stall and sink. Extra towels are in the cupboards across from the bathroom door. The main floor bedroom boasts a vaulted ceiling, ceiling fan, queen bed, and double sliding door closet with large mirrors. Another queen bed with comfortable neutral linens and is located up in the loft, which requires being able to navigate up the narrow and steep stairwell. You will also find some beanbags for lounging and a short railing that overlooks the living room. (Small children and clumsy adults be careful on the upper level). Outside there's private deck with some outdoor seating to enjoy your morning coffee or favorite brew while taking in the scenery. These units are best suited for 4 people.

The tiny home is well built and insulated. It has a propane fueled furnace for heat during cold winter months. We do have a window A/C unit that is installed during summer months to help cut the heat.Luckily, windows open and temps cool down as soon as the sun sets behind the ridge so sometimes the A/C isn't necessary.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Sam (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
