Description

Welcome to Wildflower Cottage on our 3 acre organic farm, blessed with lots of sunshine, oceanview and natural surroundings. The sustainable passive solar farm features flowering pastures, gardens, fruit trees, and happy heritage farm animals.

Wildflower cottage on Easter Egg Farm is located in Lower Roberts Creek on the Sunshine Coast and is easily accessible from the Langdale ferry terminal, either by car, bike or bus.

The cottage and farm house are build with all-natural materials (solid untreated wood, ceramic tiles, metal), painted with low VOC paint and are scent-free (if the compost is taken out in time). All 4 rooms have windows and are bright and sunny.

The cottage is suitable for 1 - 3 people - it has a double bed that sleeps 2 and a high-quality pull-out couch. Cost for an additional guest (more than two) and use of the bed-couch including extra bedding is $25.00/night.

The newly renovated cottage is self-contained with a full bathroom and kitchen. The bathroom is - as all rooms - very bright with natural light, has a bathtub with handheld showerhead that can be attached to the wall for more convenient showering, a sink and toilet.

The kitchen is a southfacing room with a view window and glass door leading to a small sunny deck. It has a sink, full stove, a small fridge, a toaster, and plenty of unique plates, pottery bowls, cups, cutlery, pots and other kitchenware. It also features a dining/sitting area with table and shelf space.

The bedroom/living room has a new eco-soybased double mattress, new queen-size duvet, cotton pillows and sheets and a bed bug-safe mattress cover (not that we ever had any) + extra woolen blankets. There is a second bedding set available (1 queen size duvet, 2 pillows and cotton sheets) for the pull-out couch in the smaller second bedroom.

The main bedroom is also called the 'Tiffany' room featuring several stained glass lamps and other tiffany style items. The entrance has french doors that are framed by additional stained glass panels. There also is a large desk with ethernet access, a reading corner and a change table in the room.

Both sides of the cottage have small covered decks with tables and 2 chairs each. The deck on the west side has a south view of the farm and ocean.

We are WIFI-free, but have high-speed Ethernet and an USB/Thunderbolt adapter for fast and secure internet-access in the cottage.

There is a parking space for 1 car close to the house and cottage, please park additional vehicles on Miles Road.

When you arrive at the property, there are a farm sign and house number sign in front of the entrance, 2 gates (please close behind you) and a 500 feet long driveway up to the house and cottage.

I am happy to give a short farm tour as well if my time allows.

Check-in time is any time after 3 pm and check-out time is 11 am to allow enough time for cleaning.

unfortunately, for insurance reasons, we cannot allow candles or any other open flames
If you could please kindly bring a waterproof protective blanket/sheet or crib if you travel with little ones.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Annette (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
