Situated in downtown Rockport overlooking Rockport Harbor, Rockport Harbor View Cottage is but a short walk to fine dining, art galleries, the Rockport Opera House and Rockport Harbor.
Recently renovated, Rockport Harbor View Cottage has been professionally decorated with top quality furnishings. This lovely tasteful home combines the old and the new with hand-hewn wood beams incorporated into the updated and classic style of the house. All 3 levels have fireplaces in the main rooms and small decks with seasonal views of the harbor. The lower level master suite has a glass floor panel offering a view of the brook beneath the house.
Enter the front door by way of granite steps leading into the foyer with its high ceilings and wood beams. The half bath is located in this foyer along with stairways to both the lower and upper levels. Walking towards the harbor you enter the open dining, living room and kitchen. The living room offers seasonal views of the harbor along with a fireplace with a small deck. The dining room seats 8 people and is separate from the open kitchen with its granite countertops and new top-grade appliances.
lower & upper levels:
The master suite is accessed by way of a stairway in the foyer. The master suite has either 2 twin beds or they can be converted to a king bed; a fireplace, glass floor panel offering a view of the brook, and a small deck with a seasonal view of the harbor. The laundry room is also on this level. The upper level 3rd floor office/den has an open floor plan; the cathedral ceiling and skylights add an aura of spaciousness. With seasonal views of the harbor, small deck, fireplace and book shelves stocked with books to suit all interests, this room is perfect for relaxing. All fireplaces have a starter supply of duraflame logs.
Pets: Pets are not allowed on the premises.
