Eastern Shores Beach House is a unique, beautifully decorated log home, an ideal vacation rental located right on the shores of the Rollo Bay flats in eastern Prince Edward Island. Close to the seaside town of Souris where you will find all your amenities.

This PEI summer rental sleeps 8 there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a queen with an en-suite, second bedroom has a queen bed downstairs and upstairs in the open loft are 4 single beds. The open concept with living room and dining room combined gives you a spacious Prince Edward Island summer rental with all the comforts of home. There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you will need to cook your island cuisine. Also provided are your linens, towels and beach towels, there are lots of little extras to make your PEI vacation an enjoyable one.

Prince Edward Island is well known for it fresh Seafood, which you can purchase close to the beach house. In May and June you can buy lobsters from the fishermen at the wharfs and in July and August they can be bought in the west. If you miss the season you can still get fresh lobster from the lobster pounds in different areas of PEI, just ask when you are here. Fresh island produce are along the roadways in vegetable stands or at the Farmers Markets, you will find one in Souris. Also, in Souris right at the causeway are the Colwell Bay oysters, fresh out of the oyster beds.

During your vacation be sure to check out the local ceilidh kitchen parties that are held throughout the communities. The east point lighthouse, several other beautiful beaches, craft stores, Elmira Train Station museum, fisheries museum, Confederation Trail are only a few attractions near the beach house. One of the best island beaches is called Basin Head “singing sands” and it is 15 minutes away. The Rollo Bay flats is right in front of the house and is an excellent place for digging our island clams. Golfing is big on PEI, there are 27 golf courses throughout Prince Edward Island and three of the best are 45 minutes from the beach house, Crowbush, Brudenell and Dundarave. Minutes from the house is also a nine-hole golf course called Rollo Bay Greens.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Lindsey (the owner) a message.

If Lindsey (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
