Description

Figgy Cabin is about as close to a tree house as you can get without being actually up in the tree. Skylights let you view the stars at night and sliding glass doors at the foot of the bed look out on lawns and gardens. The bathroom window looks through the branches of the fig tree and the shower itself is a European style side by side with a small vanity and toilet. The bedroom has an articulating bed, where head and foot sections raise or lower and an added benefit of a massage option. A small office area affords space for writing or computer work. A small all fridge and small appliances along with an outdoor kitchen and patio, loungers and bistro set make for great glamping. Spectacular sunsets and a couple of kayaks make a great combo. Lovely walks starting at your front door take you along the beach to birding areas or the old Royston Ship Wrecks. A great pub up the street has live music and good food and the corner store handles liquor, while the coffee shop has light breakfasts and lunches.

Minimum age 21. Shoes off in the house. No pets and no friends pets on the property. No Smoking of tobacco or other products including E cigarettes. No feminine products down the toilet. We are water metered so would ask guests to conserve water and dry towels on the line to save multiple washing. Thank you for your consideration.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Georgia & Ron (the owner) a message.

If Georgia & Ron (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
