Child friendly holidays in the Heart of Brittany with Onsite pool, Play area, Huge Trampoline, Indoor games barn, petting animals, and 4 acres of play ground !! In the countryside with stunning views of the Quenecan forest, Only 5 minutes to Frances largest man made lake with sandy beaches, restaurants and watersports, 5 minutes to the Nantes Brest Canal and 5 minutes to the lovely flower village of St.Aignan with epicerie for your morning baguette, a bar for your afternoon Kir, and a creperie for a lovely soiree' !!
Gites Poire sleeps 8 (plus baby toddler beds) and is an old Breton Farm cottage dating from 1664 ! The gite has a fully equipped kitchen.
The gite has its own terrace with furniture and there is also a lovely communal Bbq area where new friends can be made.
We have cots, high-chairs, stair-gates, potties, pushchairs, back pack, child toys, galt ring etc etc on site all to save you space in your car ! We also have 2 children on site with lots of toys to share !!
We get 20% off Brittany ferries crossings, and payment is made into our uk bank so there are no extra charges or exchange rates to worry about.
Bikers are made very welcome, having bikes ourselves we know lots of great roads, and Brittany was Made for biking ! We can offer great tips and ideas on where to go and even ride out with you and join up with other motorcyclists for group rides.
Your well behaved dogs are welcome to join you on holiday too, but please ask at the outset..
We're in a great location for house hunters and can help with this, be it contacting estate agents for you, translating or actual searches.

Payments are made into our UK bank account so there are no exchange rates to worry about or any nasty surprises.

Linen and house towels are supplied in the cost of your gite and there is no extra charge for normal end of stay cleaning, some gites charge extra for all these things !

The gites are all non Smoking inside . There are ashtrays outside for your use.

The Gite has a large kitchen dining room and there is a 3 and a 2 seater sofa. The back lounge has 2 x 2 seaters and an armchair, a coffee table and occassional tables.
Upstairs the bathroom is right at the top of the stairs and the bedrooms go each side of it. The bunk bed rooms are accessed through the double bedrooms making it safe for children.
The gites are fully equipped, but if you find you need something just ask. We live in a house near by and are on hand to offer advice and suggestions, We can be be as hands on or not as you want.
At least once a week we try and have a get together over the BBQ.
The animals we have on site are all friendly and the chicken lay enough eggs to be shared out amongst the many willing little collectors !!
We live at the end of a 400m lane so there is no traffic to worry about and there is plenty of parking. We do have an indoor area where bikes can be stored if needed.
Basically we are an old fashioned family holiday, not arcades and slot machines, If your children want that they won't enjoy themselves here, If they love to run and play and make friends they'll have a ball !!

The swimming pool has a large decked area with sun loungers and adjacent is a grassed area with garden bench seating. The indoor play room is within an old barn and there's Table Football, Table Tennis, and other play things. Outside we have a swing set, slides, sea saw, large Trampoline etc etc !!
The communal BBQ ( gas ) area is great for meeting new friends, or just for sitting with a glass of wine looking out over the valley to the forest. There are charcoal BBQ's you can put outside your gite if you prefer . Each gites has full furniture on the patio.
We live in 4 acres of grounds and you are welcome to walk about and find your space, From the top field there are some outstanding sunsets to be seen. The orchard is a quite place where you can spread a blanket and lose and hour or two reading.
