Description

This is the first of a row of four gites, formed from a former 200 year old barn. It has its own pretty, private garden with a lawned area, surrounded by many beautiful flowers. It is the perfect place to relax, with outdoor sitting room furniture and sun loungers, dining table and chairs, portable barbecue and two portable parasols.

The gite is light and airy with windows facing to the south and west, and it has many exposed oak beams.

Downstairs

The welcoming, open plan living area has a sitting area to the front with two comfy sofas, a flat screen TV and a DVD player. Behind the sitting area is a well equipped kitchen, with a dining table and chairs. The kitchen has a fridge freezer, full size oven, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and all you might need for wining and dining.

Upstairs

This characterful gite has a large bedroom, with a new en-suite shower room. There is plenty of room for a cot or a Z bed to be placed in the bedroom.

A cot, high chair, potty, stair gate and a child seat for one of the adult sized bicycles are available to make your stay with a baby or young child even more relaxing and enjoyable.

A super efficient washing machine and ample washing lines are available for your use.

Guest bed linen and towels are provided, as is an iron, ironing board, and hair dryer.

There are 2 acres of enclosed communal grounds with many on-site activities, including a lovely large swimming pool. The swimming pool area is fully enclosed by an attractive wooden fence and self- closing gate, providing safety for our younger guests. Around the pool are plenty of sun loungers and reclining chairs for relaxing, with adjustable parasols to provide shade when desired.

For our younger guests there is an enclosed garden area providing swings, a slide, a large sand pit full of toys and a huge trampoline enclosed by a surrounding safety net.

There is a large oak framed gazebo ideal for relaxing in the shade, playing traditional board games, reading a book or surfing the net.

Also, there is a full sized table tennis table, boules and a communal dining area nearby.

A gated archway leads to a much larger communual garden area, containing a football pitch, a badminton course and mini grass tennis courts, a 3 hole pitch and putt course and a short, challenging, cross country mountain bike course.

In the far corner of these large grounds is a secluded area with two hammocks suspended under the beautiful oak trees. The perfect place to relax and read a book or have an afternoon snooze!

Adults and children can have many hours of fun and relaxation with the numerous on-site activities. All bats, balls, clubs etc. are provided for all of our on site activities and we have various bicycles that you can use for rides from the housexperts, including two children's bikes and a child seat.

Au Pré Vert is the perfect place for your family holiday. It is also fantastic for larger family groups and sporting clubs, having the ideal mix of personal space, and communal areas.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Kevin (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
