Welcome to your holiday haven on Ile d'Orleans! Only 15km/9.5mi from Old Quebec, enjoy vineyards, boutiques and river views on this paradise island!

You stay at Motel Ile d'Orleans, the island's only motel!

Children up to 12 years stay for free, pets are welcome, parking and WiFi included!

Our property is 100% smoke free!

Your bright and spotlessly clean room comes with one comfortable Queen size bed. We may add a single couch, that may transform into a comfortable bed for an additional person. Please let us know, if you'd like to use the couch, so we can prepare it for you. We may add a baby parc, if needed.

Your vintage-style room offers Wi-Fi, a TV and a small office desk.

You'll find a small fridge and a coffee / tea maker with a selection of coffee, tea and hot chocolate.

A spacious wardrobe gives room to store your luggage.

Air condition for hot summer days is provided!

Your private bathroom contains a shower, toilet and washbasin.

Take a seat in the sun, on the garden armchairs, just in front of your room and let you charm by the beautiful view on the Saint-Lawrence River and the skyline of Quebec City!

Check-In takes place at the motel, from 3 pm to 6 pm. After 6 pm, we have a simple late check-in procedure, which will be explained to you upon booking.

The Ile d'Orleans is a tranquil place in the countryside; restaurants and vineyards close early in the evening. If arriving late, you may consider having supper in Quebec City rather than on the island itself. Ideally, you arrive in between our check-in hours.

Getting around

We are situated on Ile d'Orleans, an island 15min driving from Quebec City center. By car, you get to us via Highway 40-E / 440-E Take exit 325 (Ile d’Orleans) Cross the island’s bridge and follow QC-368 straight on, on Prevost Street. The Motel Ile d'Orleans, is situated on top of the hill, on your left. Public transport on the island is very limited, but once you've arrived, we can arrange transport with one of the local tour companies to bring you to downtown Quebec for 20$ per person. You may also arrive by taxi, especially from Quebec City's airport Jean-Lesage (YQB) this is the easiest option. Uber can bring you to the island from Quebec City, but they do not pick you up here.

We speak English, French and German. We are available from 9 am to 6 pm at the service desk to answer your questions. On site, rent scooters, electric and regular bikes and even a tandem with QUEBEC FUN TOURS! Explore the island at your own pace or take part in one of our guided tours. Taste wines, cheese and chocolate at the farm, learn about French colonial history and take great photos! Our guests enjoy an exclusive 10% discount, when booking online at QUEBEC FUN TOURS!

100% Non-smoking property! Thank you for not smoking neither inside, nor close by the building. We have a smokers' zone. Each violation of this rule will be charged with 200 $CAD.

No party place! Please keep a reasonable noise level, especially after 8 pm.

Pets welcome!
We do not offer any pet equipment. No pet is allowed to sleep in our beds. Please do not leave your pet alone in the room. For the additional cleaning effort, we charge 20 $CAD upon arrival.

Owner's reply: Merci pour votre visite à notre motel vintage - des années 70, comme vous l'avez très bien marqué dans votre titre. Nous opérons le seul motel de l'Île d'Orléans depuis 2 ans seulement et rénovons au fur et à mesure avec le plus grand respect possible pour ce site patrimonial. Nous sommes à l'entrée de l'île, doté d'une superbe vue sur le fleuve (la fenêtre de la salle de bain donne dans la forêt tranquille à l'arrière du motel). Toutes nos chambres comprennent des salles de bains privées, l'air climatisée et le café du matin est inclus. Sur place, nous louons des scooters et vélos électriques, afin que vous puissiez découvrir la belle Île d'Orléans avec ses vignobles et boutiques d'une manière active! Au plaisir de vous accueillir chez nous!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Stephanie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
