Description

The Lavender House is located in the Larch Hills between Salmon Arm and Enderby. The solar powered house is only 10 minutes away from the Larch Hills cross country ski trails, and can sleep up to 12 guests. Lavender is perfect for larger families, groups of friends and eco-friendly travelers, so whether you're into birding, cross country skiing, or simply snuggling up with a book by the fire, the Lavender provides a splendid and luxurious habitat. Complementary wifi & pets are welcome.

The large solar powered post and beam house was built in 2003.

The full country kitchen, is equipped with all the cooking and dining utensils you will would need for preparing and cooking meals for larger groups.

The dining room has stunning views of the Enderby Cliffs, and the Shuswap River below, and the 10 foot dining table can easily seat up to 12 guests.

The large cozy living room has a masonry fireplace, and comfortable places to lounge and play board games.

There is a screened in living room off of the kitchen that has a rock fireplace and plenty of comfortable seating.

The master bedroom on the main floor has a queen size bed, the second bedroom has 2 double on the bottom, twin on the top bunk beds (sleeps 6), and the recessed room off of the living room has two double futons (sleeps 4).

There is also a seasonal screened in bedroom/ sitting area (May-Sept).

There are 2 full bathrooms, plus an outdoor shower and a backhouse.

The yard ~ Amazing views on the outdoor terraced patio, surrounded by a grape arbors and lavender beds....South of France in the North OKanagan.

There is a wood-fired sauna.

The 160 acres property has walking trails that lead to spectacular views of the North Okanagan Valley and the Shuswap River below.

***Please note that Lavender House is heated with wood***

We provide paper, kindling and wood, directions on how to start and maintain wood fires. Your accommodations will be toasty warm upon arrival.

***The guest is responsible for the lighting and tending of fires after check in***

We have beautiful hiking/snowshoeing and bush skiing trails here on the property, feel free to explore the trails and look-outs, however the Larch Hills trails systems is only a 10 min drive away.

The Lavender House is approximately 25 minutes from the nearest grocery store so stock up on supplies before heading up the hill.

In the winter we recommend that you have a 4wd vehicle.

The Lavender House will have an assortment of teas, salt and pepper, olive oils.

How do damage deposits work?
