Character abounds in renowned winemaker Bryan Babcock and his wife Lisa's enchanting 1920s Mediterranean home, situated perfectly for exploring the spectacular Santa Barbara Riviera (3 minutes from beach!) & nearby wine country. Located in Montecito on nearly an acre of landscaped grounds, the four bedroom house accommodates eight guests comfortably. For an additional cost feel free to inquire about our charming guest cottage. House guests receive complimentary tasting & discounts on our wines.

Ideal Rooms for Entertaining: The fabulous dining room comfortably seats up to ten guests and is conveniently situated next to the gourmet kitchen. Well equipped, the cheery kitchen, with fantastic garden view, features a 6-burner Wolf range with double oven, dishwasher, microwave, and stainless refrigerator, as well as accessories for meal preparation and service. Outstanding caterers are available for special events. Adjacent to the dining area, is the large, cozy family room with views of the majestic oaks, flower garden, and fountain. Curl up with a book or watch a movie in this gorgeous room with beamed ceiling and beautiful old world fireplace.

Charming, Restful Bedrooms: Upstairs, four charming and restful bedrooms await you. Three of the bedrooms have their own bathrooms. The master, with an en suite bathroom has a shower, garden view, television and romantic balcony. Another bedroom, also with balcony, has a bath adjacent and a view of the rose garden. The third bedroom, with en suite bathroom and shower, has a beautiful antique bed and a gorgeous view of the garden with the fountain below. Finally, the fourth upstairs room has a double bed, a small sunroom, perfect for reading, and a small half bath nearby.

Inviting Guest Cottage: Down a stone path, an inviting, two story guest cottage accommodates another four guests and is available for larger groups. The upstairs is bright, with high beamed ceilings and is thoughtfully appointed with a queen bed, charming decor, and two sets of French doors leading to a large balcony. There is a full bath upstairs as well, with a beautiful vintage tiled floor. The first level has a double bed, desk and a kitchenette with a small fridge, sink, coffeemaker, microwave and toaster, with seating and a cute table perfect for a morning scone and coffee. Parking is conveniently available near the home's front door, with room for a vehicle or two back by the guest cottage.

House guests receive complimentary wine tasting at Babcock Vineyards Tasting Room located in the acclaimed Santa Rita Hills appellation.* Guests also receive a 20% discount on any wine purchases. If you can’t make it up to the winery, but would like to have some Babcock wines during your stay, we are more than happy to deliver them to the house prior to your arrival.

*Wine tasters must be 21 or older, however we do welcome guests of all ages. We ave many areas to picnic both indoor and out. Additionally we have games such as checkers, chess and a pool table. We carry an enormousness collection of vintage vinyl, customers are welcome to listen with headphones and many of our albums are for sale, along with other very cool vintage finds!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Lisa (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
