Description

Villa Vernissa is a typical Majorcan country house. Located just 6 km from the sea in Santa Margalida (Noth Mallorca) it is ideal for those who wish to enjoy relaxing and calm holidays. Vernissa, with a beautiful garden and a private pool, is a nice place to sunbathe, have a morning swim, read a book in a hammock or have an ''al fresco'' dinner with your family and friends. The villa can accommodate 6 people in 3 bedrooms. Vernissa is tastefully furnished with everything you may need for an enjoyable self-catering holiday, very charming and comfortable.

Layout

The villa consists of two floors. On the ground floor there is a living room with sat TV, a dining room with a beautiful wooden table for twelve people, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and a room with a double bed. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one with two single beds and the other with a double bed and a toilet. Separated from the house there is a kitchen, a wood stove and a barbecue. By the porch there is an outside table for enjoying breakfast and dinner on the open air terrace with views overlooking the garden and swimming pool.

Comfort and Amenities:

Parking, Wi-Fi Internet, Satellite TV, DVD Player, High Chair, Dishwasher, Fridge/Freezer, Cooker, Iron, Microwave, Toaster, Kettle, Washing Machine, Barbeque, Hair Dryer. Linens and Towels are provided. Air-Conditioning and Ping-Pong table available.Cleaning charges are included in the rental price. This circustance do not exempt the client from his obligation to return the property in its original cleanliness. Nothing will take from the deposit as long as this condition is fulfilled.

Note 1. The final cleaning costs are included in the rental price. This circumstance does not exempt the client from his obligation to take care of the property. Nothing will be taken from the deposit while the use of the house is reasonable.

Note 2. In those properties where it is possible to include an extra bed, and always subject to availability, the cost will be € 15 per person per day.

Note 3. When possible a late check-out, always subject to availability, the cost will be € 50 until 13:00 and € 90 until 16:00.

“Nice and relaxing”

Me my husband and our little girl came back from the villa couple a days ago. We had a really nice holiday there. The villa has got great location. It's situated between fields. There is no other houses around it. You can do a lot of walking ( shame there is no bike available ) it's so quiet u can only hear the plains landing every couple of minutes but that didn't bother us. There is a restaurant not far , just by the main road. We walked twice there. The food is great and very good price too. The beach is about 10 km away so car is needed. The beach is lovely. We visited the old town of Santa Margarinda - it's really beautiful. The pool in the villa is very nice however we staid there in Septemeber and the weather wasn't hot enough to heat up the pool. Water was cold and our little girl couldn't get it much which was upsetting for her. It's a shame that the pool is not heated or at least if there was a cover that would help to heat up the water. There is some problem with the hot water in the bathroom . The owner had to sent people twice to fix it. But that didn't spoilt our holiday as the place is really ideal to go with small kids or if u are looking for a quiet holiday to relax.

I booked this stunning villa for 7 nights for a group of 6 friends. Non of us could fault it in anyway. It was perfect! We didn't want to come home. We will certainly be booking for longer next year. A car in definetely needed. I highly recommend emptying bins daily and keeping food sealed because of ants. Juan was amazing! Thank you for a holiday to remember for all the right reasons. Emma

“Rural retreat”

After doing a lot of research and reading the reviews we booked the villa and were not disappointed, it is easy to find on Google maps, but we met Juan nearby, who lead us to the villa and explained everything to us, which was a nice and a change from recent holiday villa rentals. The villa is very private and being rural you get the feeling of being away from it all. The pool was great and my daughter enjoyed her time in it. The WiFi was good and was perfect for holiday use. The Villa itself is well equipped and has air conditioning in the three bedrooms to ensure a good night's sleep.The property generates energy from the solar panel in the garden and a generator in one of the out buildings which gave a little bit of noise when you are sat around the pool early in the morning. At some parts of the day you can hear the planes coming into land, but this isn't disruptive, but as there is no other noise it can be heard. We had a small problem with the toilet not flushing, and sent a message to Yuan the managing agent, and he arranged with the owner to get it fixed as soon as was possible. I would definitely go back again as we had a most enjoyable time.

Wonderful villa in perfect setting. Very clean villa. Everything provided you needed. Comfy beds. Nice outdoor area with terrace for out door dining. Also barbecue area and outdoor kitchen with wood burning oven as well. Lovely pool with nice area for relaxing on loungers. Ideal setting, peaceful countryside. However near enough to shops, restaurants, towns, beaches if needed. A car is recommended if you wish to get out and about, but all easy in car. Great communication with Juan - letting agent. Very helpful and informative. Key hand over on arrival very easy and Juan very welcoming.

“Beautiful property in lovely surroundings”

A wonderful typical Majorcan house set in its own grounds a short drive away from the village of Santa Margalida. Close also to the more touristy resort of Ca'n Picafort where there is a large supermarket for all your needs. The house is very comfortable with all the facilities you need including WiFi which my teenagers loved! It is a well maintained house with a lovely outside area too.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
