The house is on the first floor of a two-storey building and consists of a double bedroom and a bedroom with a bunk bed (for a total of 4 beds), a kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace and a garden with barbecue. You will have at your disposal all the necessary linen, satellite TV, washing machine and air conditioning (the latter for a small fee). The house is also equipped with a private parking space. The house is located 6 minutes from the sea and a few minutes (always on foot) from the supermarket and the town center. From the small tourist port, within the town, depart all types of boats with direction Cala Mariolu, Cala Biriola, Cala Luna etc ... In a few minutes by car, instead, you can reach the small town of Baunei, from where trekking routes for all tastes. The town of Santa Maria Navarrese offers all kinds of services and has now become a reference tourist destination in the Ogliastra area!

Getting around

Public transport is present but not very efficient. It is advisable to rent a car if you arrive on site with a car owned by you. Santa Maria can be reached from Lotzorai via the SP63 provincial road that crosses Tancau sul Mare in a northerly direction and then connects to the SS125 towards Baunei. Coming from Baunei, it is possible to take the SP63 in a southerly direction reaching Santa Maria and then proceeding towards Tancau sul Mare rejoining the SS125 in the direction of Lotzorai.

Interaction with guest

The manager of Casa Vacanze Paola will be present at the time of arrival of the guests for the delivery of the keys and for a quick tour of the house. In addition, we will be available for the duration of your stay to solve problems related to structure malfunctions. At the end of the stay, there will be a new meeting to manage the check-out and return of the keys.

“Lovely apartment and great owner(s)”

The apartment has everything a family needs for a stay, very comfortable, clean and well looked after, felt relaxed as soon as we got there. Looks nicer in real life than the photos. Garden at the rear (accessed from the large double bedroom), with BBQ etc. Lovely balcony from the dining room / kitchen which leads onto a small front garden strip full of beautiful flowers and vegetation that add to the sense of seclusion and privacy. Second bedroom with bunk bed. Wifi, washing machine, air-con, coffee machine, fridge, parking bay out the front, hairdryer, the list goes on. The apartment is in a small secure apartment block 10 mins walk from the beach and main section of town, 5 mins walk from the local supermarket and butchers. The owner (Bruno) and his son (Enrico) were very friendly and nothing was an issue, especially with any self-made dramas, such as forgetting the keys in a restaurant! I was also blown away with Bruno waiting up for us until our arrival at 2am due to a delayed flight and a wonderful welcome with a selection of Sardinian food, a bottle of wine and a warm smile which was still there when he came to say goodbye. If you are looking to stay in this area of Sardinia you will not regret choosing this apartment.

I can't say enough good things. Location: Near the top of the town in a quite side street. In a small secure apartment complex. 10 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to supermarket and butcher. Apartment: The apartment is really nice. Nice big double bedroom which leads into the rear garden (with BBQ and ample space to dry clothes etc.). Smaller second bedroom with bunkbed, fine for sharing. Both bedrooms with Aircon. Lovely livingroom with small kitchen area (coffee machine and some complimentary coffee pods, free WiFi, TV and digital channels). Shower room with washing machine. Balcony area which also leads to very small strip of front garden, lots of nice flowers and vegetation gives sense of seclusion and some shade. Overall very clean and very well looked after, more homely than a hotel and somewhere we all felt at ease straight away, which continued during our stay. The owner: Really this is where it all begins and ends. It makes such a difference when you are made to feel welcomed and help is on hand with any self made dramas! Our plane was late leaving the UK which meant we didn't arrive until 2am. Bruno was there waiting for us with a smile, friendly handshake and a selection of delicious Sardinian food and drink ready for us to sample. When I managed to leave the keys in a restaurant (which I got back later), Bruno was straight over with a spare set. This was backed up with easy communication with his son Enrico who was quick to respond about any queries. Then Bruno came to say good bye the day before we left. Anyone heading to Santa Maria Navarrese will only be glad if they book this place.

“Great place to enjoy quiet and relaxing holiday in September”

It was a real pleasure to stay in this lovingly and tastefully equipped apartment. A lot of local stuff and decorations create a feeling that you are at home. The owners Enrico and Bruno are very kind and helpful. Santa Maria Navarrese is a good point to travel around, you can reach many beautiful places by car, and definitely it makes sense to take the day boat trip from S.-Maria to swim at small hided beaches and look at the picturesque cliffs. We stayed there in the beginning of September, and probably that's the best time because there are no crowds but it's' still very warm.
