Meandering the seven bends Unpaved suddenly find ourselves look into the village to the mountains of St. Macarius preciously hides, between valleys and green hills. Gourim brand, today still, a story of persistence and struggle, a very present in the shale remains out of sight.

There is the House Margou. The living proof that Gourim reborn gradually. Unhurriedly and without ambition. regenerates the taste of the seasons, through a nature in its purest state, and since they do place a little paradise to know.

Situated in the mountain foothills, the Margou House is a cozy family room, ideal for enjoying the silence, always surrounded by an idyllic landscape that leaves no one indifferent.

Completely restored, the house has retained its original and rustic moth. With 3 bedrooms, a living room, 2 toilets, a kitchen, a living room with fireplace and a terrace, the house has a maximum capacity for 12 people.

They are the common spaces that make this house special. From the living room that allows, on cooler days, enjoy cooked in the wood oven, to the covered terrace for reading moments in the long sunny days, through the living room that allows you to have gatherings in a quiet, intimate atmosphere.

Far from urban centers, in Gourim breathes peace and tranquility. Here silence reigns. The murmur of small streams distracts the most attentive and curious ... The nature remains intact. The time, this is still long ... There is time to walk, read, relax ... or even to write a book. Here, time is valuable and there is no possible currency trading. House Margou in Gourim is a favorite place for those who are adept at walking, trekking, mountain biking, TT rides or adventure sports.

You can go to the discovery of the various streams of the mountain, old mills, or opt for individual tracks operated by the ancestors of the village of Gourim as the "Trail of the Incas", a journey to discover the valleys linking the Varzim villages of Leiras ( S. Pedro do Sul) and Covelo Paivô (Arouca).



This is the suitable venue for the workshops aimed at small groups who prefer the contact with nature. The silence and tranquility of Gourim invite to meditation and reflection, important factors in personal and interpersonal development courses.

yoga sessions, workshops vegetarian food, holistic events, are other examples of courses that take place in Margou.
